*shrug* I like it just fine. I've got two AL characters that use it - a halfling barbarian and a human paladin/warlock. I wish spears worked with PAM, but you use what you can get.

If that's all it does, it might as well be named "Gauntlet of Suicide by Dragon" It compels you to seek out and fight any dragon within 10 miles, no retreat, no surrender, no planning - but all it gives you is AC 18, a moderately damaging aura that will annoy a dragon, and resistance to fire...

Note: Nothing in the feat says that the bonus action attack from PAM doesn't have reach as well...

In my home campaign I've house ruled that proficiency in the Medicine skill grants you the Healer feat automatically. And still none of my players took the skill. :erm:

Well, in this specific instance (using the bonus action shove from Shield Master before the attack action) - the Sage had made one ruling that (almost) everyone agreed with, and now he has reversed that ruling. And a lot of people don't agree with his logic for the reversal and are pointing...

I agree. Personally, I can't think of any AL DM or home game DM I've played with that even thought about disallowing the use of bonus actions during the attack action. Most often because people forget to cast Hex/Hunters mark until after they make their first attack, but occasionally for other...

To be fair, with Xanthar's Guide pact blade warlocks can take the Improved Pact Weapon invocation for a +1 to attack/damage, which makes it easier to delay increasing your charisma.

You could house rule Potent Cantrip so that it works similar to Great Weapon Style for fighters - have it allow you to re-roll 1's and 2's (once) on the damage roll.
