Actually my main gripe about the movie is that the allegory was watered down a bit much.They really needed to hit you over the head with it. For the record, I'm not overly religious and I don't go to church. But by toning down, they stripped away some of the drama and power of a few key scenes...

BroccoliRage, do you know about Castles and Crusades? Its a very 1st Edition-esque RPG that incorporates many of the more intuitive concepts from the D20 system. Might be right up your alley.

The time required to invest in the game is a problem yes, but many people seem to have no problem spending hours playing World of Warcraft or fishing, as you say. Its also the logistical problem of getting 5 busy people together every week and learning several books of rules. People not only...

That might be your personal preference in gaming or literature, but I don't think it would work for a TV series. Most people tune in to a show to see how things are panning out with characters they know and enjoy. Not to say that there was never a successful anthology series, but most TV shows...

I like my tact-tiles too, but I'll chime in with a few cons as well: I agree they're a bit heavy. Grid lines are too thick, IMO I don't recommend rolling dice on them. :uhoh: And all my friends....keep...doing it....

Interesting idea, but I would start to feel like I'm watching a blatant 90 min. commercial for WotC, which I find kind of tacky. I'm sure this movie will drum up some business, but must we head into YuGiOh territory?
