The kid who wrote the letter to WotC is a middle-schooler. Sounds like he's really getting into the role of DM and has a lot of promise. I wonder if Monte Cook had written in to TSR and received a response like this if he'd ever have gone on to design games.

Optimism is good, but I'll believe it when I see it. If I have one complaint about C&C, it's that they seem to be following 1e AD&D's release schedule; little brown box, two books, a "basic box" and finally (maybe) someday the DM's book.... whenever they get to it.

I've pretty much stopped reading the site at all, now that the forum jump is gone. I check in every few days to see if it's back, and now I notice the review jump is gone (my "#2" destination at this site).
