    Almost time for 4E!

How many 3.5e D&D Wotc products do you own?

Oh, and I've got a whopping FOUR 3.5 books. Three core books, plus the Planar Handbook. I've got nearly all the 3.0 books, mostly packed away. I've got other 3.5 books floating around here, but they're provided by the players in my campaign. I've also got photocopies of various bits from books...

How many 3.5e D&D Wotc products do you own?

A related thread on SKR's board came up with the average cost of all these books... very interesting, and probably close to accurate: http://seankreynolds.com/boardskr/viewtopic.php?t=414

    Gay PCs or NPCs

Strange, I ran Rufus and Burne in a similar way. I wonder if there are cues in the modules that suggest this, or if it's just a really obvious idea. IMC, They weren't exactly out, but most everyone knew... in "my" Greyhawk, their sexuality would cause problems with politics in most regions, and...

    Gay PCs or NPCs

My last druid PC had a gay cohort. Never got to do much, my PC died very soon after. I thought it would be fun to turn the standard cohort/PC relationship on its ear - my druid was very "not gay and not headed that way," especially not at the ripe ol' age of 70. I was looking to have a...

How often does the trip mechanic come up in your game?

One of the PCs in my game is a halfing spike chain wielder with Improved Trip. It comes up every combat, but it doesn't work as well as he'd like...

    D&D 3.x 3.5 Spells - Far Weaker?

Yep. I found myself metagaming soooo much when I was making NPCs. After about 7th level, every arcane spellcaster I made had to have Haste. What was that the 3.0 designers used to say about balance? Something like, "if it's so good that everyone has to take it, it's too good," right?

Which is Cooler, Yakfolk or Abeil?

Dromites, from the EPH, are pretty interesting.

    Favourite "Post-Human" PC Race?

None of the above. I really don't like the slew of "looks human, but has the bonuses you want" races.

    WotC's D&D bumperstickers

I want the Tomb of Horrors one! Even though it's not true. :(

Which is Cooler, Yakfolk or Abeil?

Yakmen. They're more strongly based in mythology. Plus, there's something creepy about devious intelligent yaks.

    Equality in the DnD world

Should've mentioned that in the first post* - that's an entirely different question. We don't let the wimminfolk play D&D until they're done with the chores. *EDIT: I mean poll - I didn't read the first post until I had voted from the front page.

    Equality in the DnD world

Men tend to have governmental power in nearly all of my medieval-based campaigns. Inequality is interesting.

Can't game at your own house?

Schedule the game anyways, and see if he is able to be such a turd when he's not just pushing one person around. I'd kick him out and get a new roommate.

Does one attack roll = one attack?

Spoken like a person who just wants to argue or insult people. "unless you likewise say that higher damage rolls = multiple telling blows."

Does one attack roll = one attack?

Are we talking about different things solely to disagree? I was talking about how many swings are attendent to a single roll, not how many take place in a combat round. Those AoOs get their own attack roll, and are very definitely "1 roll = 1 hit."

Do you prefer the 3.5 or the 3.0 weapon size rules?

It's different, but not better or worse. Fear it. BTW Psion, why does it require more bookkeeping? I don't see it at all.

I refuse to DM 3/3.5 past 7th level. How about you?

I don't have a problem running the game itself at high levels (although it's a drag when a single combat dominates your whole session), but prepping for a high level game? Ugh. The effort:fun ration is too high, especially once you start straying from the core rules. I voted "after level 15"...

Does one attack roll = one attack?

Excellent reading, and I agree it fits for AD&D. For D&D3.X, I would still love to see a source that suggests firing 150 arrows a minute is possible.

Does one attack roll = one attack?

I would love to read a source for this opinion.
