Glad they chose this.
Tarkir would have been my other choice, but I wasn't as familiar with the lore. This lore sounds cool, with the turning.
I just hope the adventure included doesn't stink AND is for more than just levels 1-3
Also, for folks like me stuck in USica, and used to seeing the word spelled "cozy" and maybe also a bit self-diagnosed OCD about spelling and bothered every time looking at this thread title...
A quick search on the DDG (Duck Duck Go) tells me that the OP was in fact using the British English...
I'm no BW apologist, but I have enjoyed both the 3-shot BW game and the more-shot Torchbearer games I've participated in. Never gotten Mouse Guard to the table, but I own the box set (talk about shelfware!).
That said, Ironsworn could be very interesting rules set for a MouseGuard setting...
Wait, Kij Johnson - author of the Dream Quest of Vellit Boe and Fudoki? Oh, and also of a book called The Riverbank pubbed in 2017?
I am so backing this. (And also going to go get the book too!). Wind in the Willows one of my favorite books as a kid, and still a banger...
My regular DM in the one 5e game I play has been trying to get us all to try Crown & Skull.
Maybe v2 will be what pushes us over the edge.
I'd play, but I'm not sure about anyone else in our group.
I'm sorry Parmandur, I've read this sentence like 5 times, and still don't get what you are saying. I think there are some typos in here that are corrupting the meaning. OR I don't know what the use of the noun "lampshade" as a verb means
Many of the outdoor scenes in the TV show Psych were filmed in the Vancouver area, but supposed to be my current hometown of Santa Barbara CA, about 160km north of Los Angeles. There was a forsest scene once, which is fine, there is in fact a forest here. But waaaay to many pine trees, clouds...
Besides Stranger Things, how many of those are Netflix shows (asking seriously, I don't follow TV/Streaming stuff at all, except I do know Game of Thrones was on HBO)
Some great ideas here! Charlaquin had the right of it - what fun interesting creative stuff would you do? The corporate branding stuff, that'll be this person's "real job"; but not v interesting except in so far as it does provide some creative constraints.
I just want a setting that's all...
"continent"?
With AI of course, our social media "content" may become sentient too, but I'm not sure how gameable that'll be
Regardless, sounds like a cool game. Another one to listen to and one I hadn't heard of - thanks @tabletopjess !
