There is nothing in the description of spider climb to indicate that you are prone, or not prone, so I can only assume that it has no effect on your prone/not prone status. You can be tripped while spider climb is active, which could make for some interesting effects... I'm pretty sure it is...

What he said. XP doesn't handle changing hardware very well. Better than previous versions, definitely, but it will freak out on a whole new system. Just start from scratch and install stuff when you need it. You'll find that maybe you don't need all the stuff you think you do.

I'm glad it's working. Reinstalling your system because of a virus problem is a huge annoyance. Most of the time if you try to delete something important Windows will warn you about it. Nothing important ever goes on the desktop unless you put it there.

Drivers for Vista are still primitive, so they're not as optimized. 2 GB RAM should be pretty decent. Vista itself doesn't really do anything that XP + 3rd party programs can't do. There aren't any really compelling reasons to upgrade, so hold off for a while longer, if you can.

I've seen official stats for the grippli, but I can't remember where. Possibly in Dragon Magazine. If you can find a 2nd ed Monster Manual they should be really easy to convert. I did it once and I think they naturally come out at LA +0. Sorry I can't recall what they come out as at the moment...
