    I know its written "One Creature" by in my eyes everyone within 5 feet of it gets hit. Maybe change it, so its this spike, coming from the ground, with about 10 feet of lenght.. So basicly it hits the person stading here orj sut hoovering over the field.

    Ye thats right, if you calculate it, they're balanced perfect. I did the math some weeks ago, and without an str bonus, they about equal, but with a high str x3 is beter than 19-20/2x...

    Nice idea, my suggestion to your problem is, either improve the other classes. Or just make better encounters. Give them better saves (to resist spells) use more creatures with spell resistance, use creatures immune to one or more types of energy, or have resistance against the specific...

    Possible ECL for this template?

    As mentioned above, its Unplayable for a character, it would greatly ruin the gameplay. this looks like a "Power me as much as i can" template.. Reminds me of my, friend that got bored and made a 1d100 damage Sword... Same concept.. Just doesn't belong to the normal d&D games
