I have investigated this route several times and once was very close to getting it done, but the problem is that 50,000 cd's have to be made and paid for. That's about $15,000. I'd do it if I had enough support to help pay for it... but that's way too much money for RPGNow to burden itself...

The problem with that theory is that the CSN product promotes the sale of something in the store or something they can order through the store. The Downloader Monthly does the oposite. It tries to get people to spend their limited cash on something NOT in the store. Thus no retailer will carry...

A point no one seems to be covering here is that there is a ton of great original and very useful material in PDF format that isn't and may never be in print format. So you're not given a choice 75% of the time. Why publishers don't caugh up the $30 or so it takes to make 10 books to sell at...

It actually should/could have been free if you bought them from http://www.RPGNow.com - we have records of all sales even years ago and can supply you with new download links in the case of these issues as long as you prove you are who you say you are :) James

We actually run Macray's Keep's RPG Store front... so there is some cross connection there- but probably not enough. We don't see much sales from that channel though :( James
