    Planar travel

You first read where I say they're available as ESDs, then you get out your handy dandy credit card and let your fingers do the walking to Wizards' online store where you pay five bucks and download the PDF versions of the books...

    Planar travel

Well, the old Planescape stuff on Sigil doesn't need to be revised to 3E, because it was pretty rules-light. Most of it is available as ESDs now...

    Morrowind meets DnD

Eh. NWN does have the advantage of actually being D&D, and having multiplayer, but the Morrowind engine is looking a lot nicer, and the editor a lot friendlier.

    Morrowind meets DnD

Give the game a few months for fan expansions to happen. I bet it's only a matter of time before someone tries to convert their old D&D modules using Morrowind's construction set.

    Limited Polymorph

Maybe just require ranks in an appropriate Knowledge skill. Mundane animals would be rather simple, Monsters would require either research or tutoring from someone who knows of them, demonics and celestials would require demonology or planar knowledge, etc.

    KidCthulhu's Scarred Land story hour

Well, I included no less than twelve little riddle/puzzle parts to the latter part of the adventure. They're short, and relatively simple, because in my experience if they're made too hard they can bog down an adventure, but they're there. I just put them in to add to the mysticism and symbolism...

    KidCthulhu's Scarred Land story hour

Depends on how he adjusts the encounters for what level you guys are when he runs it. I did put in a buttload of puzzles, though :D

Rename "The Two Towers" to Something Less Offensive Petition Petition

Apparently Petition Online has chosen to put a "warning, this petition is fundamentally stupid" disclaimer on the durned thing...

Archdevils and Demon Princes as deities.

Well, Manual of the Planes more or less states that Prime worlds like FR and Greyhawk are linked by the Plane of Shadow, and continues to perpetuate the "Multiverse" concept that 1E and 2E had. This is what's troubling. I mean, I could take it if they just flat-out said "we're not following...

Archdevils and Demon Princes as deities.

I'm fully aware I can house-rule it. That's not the problem I have with it. The problem I have is that there's literally no reason not to have it in core D&D canon, and even less reason to contradict and retcon the past canon that allowed it (1E, 2E).

    I got Faiths & Pantheons!

Er, you do know Monte wrote Modron March and Dead Gods, right? You know, the ones that unequivocably stated Orcus' once and future godhood, and established him as a supreme badass of the planes? I'd hardly peg him for a puritanical Orcus-hatah.

Archdevils and Demon Princes as deities.

Yes, but just after he posted it, someone cited that the book gave them lesser deity status, and if they're not gods with a DR of higher than zero, one wonders what the hell they are. Well, my main gripe is that these have been given deity status in past editions, even 2E. Orcus is a Lesser God...
  15. The Traveler

Archdevils and Demon Princes as deities.

I just find it odd that D&DG and Monte both say they can never rise above Quasideity status, yet here we have canonical statements contradicting that. Given, I think it's fitting that Orcus is a god, considering even 2E granted him that and had him land in the Astral when he died, but having...

Who is going to publish D20 Call of Cthulhu material?

Er, no. Arkham House still holds the rights to the Cthulhu Mythos.
  17. The Traveler

Archdevils and Demon Princes as deities.

Faiths and Pantheons lists Orcus, Baphomet, and Pazrael as demons who achieved Lesser Deity status, and Gargauth as an Archdevil who became a demigod. This directly contradicts the statements in Deities and Demigods, as well as what Monte has said. Discuss.

Asmodeus ~ 2nd Ed. concept no longer relevant

Doesn't change the fact that apparently Kiriansalee was either afraid enough of him to run away, or killed by him, as of the 3E Manual of the Planes.
  19. The Traveler

Asmodeus ~ 2nd Ed. concept no longer relevant

Manual of the Planes 3E has Kiriansalee disappearing shortly after the rumours of Orcus returning. Either Orcus has killed her, or she's afraid enough of him that she's gone to ground. Bottom line, he's a threat to her (and how could he not be? He killed Bwimb, Manzecorian, Primus, etc.) and...

    Babylonian/Judeo-Christian Mythology

My bad. The way you couched it made it seem like you wanted more monotheistic, or at least dualistic religions. Tiamat, of course, is Sumerian, being the consort of Marduk. They're the Uranus/Gaia pairing of Sumerian myth, and they were slain to form the world. Tiamat particularly became the...
