    brushes for miniatures

I use the cheaper brushes for dry brushing. I like the Winsor & Newton brushes for fine detail (000 Series 7) and the Royal Aqualon (10/0 #2250) has served me well for detail as well. Both brushes have lasted me for over three years. That is with me painting at least three figures a week and...

Why Didn't This Ever Catch On?

I think Elmore must have missed the coloring book too. He just came out with one about a month ago. :D Larry Elmore It also comes with a disk for you to print your own to color any way you want. You can also use the computer to color them as well. Enjoy, Darius

    Online mini's stores?

I agree with Painfully there. Anne Turned me onto Fantization and I haven't looked back since. Great customer service too. I still want to look before I buy but i have always been that even with modules and books. If I can't touch it I don't usually buy it. Reaper is also very very user...

Why are modules no longer popular

I miss calling them modules, I miss the numbering system of the old modules...ect.. I would almost bet that WOTC comes out with Adventures so infrequently that it is not cost effective for them to be published anymore. Not to mention with all the great other companies willing to put out modules...

    Enterprise 02/11/03

Hoshi was probably able to read the Human signature as this was a planet with Andorians and Vulcans. Not all that tough really. I was also impressed with this episode. They did a good job on it.

    Favorite Mini's I painted

Sorry about the lack of detail in this photo. These three are my favorite Elf Player character. I painted each one similar under the cloaks but totally different Cloaks denoting the three magic cloaks he owns in game. This is a great figure to paint to get shading down right. Darius

    Favorite Mini's I painted

This is her from the back. The chain mail was painted black then drybrushed with Bolt gun metal ...inked then drybrushed again.....then carefully picked out with Mithral and Chainmail. Took about two hours total between waiting for the paint to dry and total completion of the fig.

    Favorite Mini's I painted

My Female Fighter This figure was a blast to paint. The detail in her face is much better in real life. she looks downright mad. I am quite proud of her.

    Plugins for Paint Shop Pro/Photoshop

I talked with my friend and we tried to get one programmed.....looked aweful to me. Hehehe best bet might be to just print the map on parchement paper and then spill some coffee on it. Tea might work to then heating it a little in the oven or a match to burn parts of it. Be careful when using...

[OT] Yet another martial arts help thread.....so, please help!!

That is great Tacky. When we did grabbing techniques or Waza in ninjutsu class our teacher always told us that just standing there and doing the technique alone could cause the technique to fail. We needed to add a strike of some kind to put the attacker off balence first. It sounds like this...
