Midnight Tides by Erikson. I read a couple reviews that said book 5 wasnt that good, but Ive enjoyed it so far and Im halfway through. Plan on reading Children of Hurin after it.

Hard to say. Ravenloft and Demonwebs are both great. Although some groups arent into Planar adventures. Id wait until Greyhawk comes out. Im hoping it will be the stand out among them.

Sounds like a fun little break. I'd give it a shot. Higher level can be a blast, especially for groups that never reach them.

You couldnt ask for a better setting, especially with the ease of adding content through portals since it makes since instead of some odd add on. Eventually, you could even include some of the worlds maybe, although that would probably be asking too much. Just adventuring in the outer planes...

Cant say Ive ever run a fantasy game with GURPS. My group always wanted to use D&D (Hackmaster) for fantasy, so I never got to run a fantasy campaign with GURPS. We used it for pretty much everything else, as it is an extremely flexible system.

I recommend GURPS for pretty much anything other than Fantasy. But if fantasy is what you are aiming for Id use Hackmaster. I know a lot of people dont like some of the system, but its easy to take out things like honor and flaws if it doesnt suit you. It's not for everyone, but I really...

I'd recommend Green Ronin's Pychic Warrior. Definately should fit the bill.
