Don't be silly. First of all, a DM can allow any potion to exist that he wants. Why not See Invis? Second of all, don't be stupid. Potions of See Invisibility are Core.

About a half-year ago I remember seeing a bunch of ads for a City book that was HUGE. Supposedly it was 120+ pages (maybe twice that) and had amazing, amazing amounts of detail. Does anyone remember the title, or have any opinions?

A dissenting opinion . . . I paged through some of it (I was prohibited by my mean DM from looking at the evil gods and the magic items) and was, well, not exactly bowled over. If I was going to use their pantheons and such, well, fine, it'd be worth the $$. Since I'm not, it's not.

One soldier counts as CR4, so the #2 is correct. Four soldiers would count as CR8, roughly. This is assuming that the soldiers were not lame "warriors", but well-equipped (at least as NPCs) fighters with the bonus feats and all that, of course.
