Help or advice?D&D group w/players, failure to acknowledge or even know rules... help

Hi Gottohneaffen, I feel your pain. And I understand your frustration, especially with trying to maintain the integrity of a game you love when noone else takes it as seriously (or understands the rules as well) as you do. But I would say this: The game (as wonderful as it is) is not worth...

    Tv & rpgs

My friend and I have always wanted to base an adventure around the plot of "Pitch Black" -- while transporting a deadly assassin, PCs are stranded on a world of hostile beasts, and are about to be plunged into cold & darkness. I ran an adventure once that centered on intrigue during "The...

    Feather Token - Bird

I routinely used (=abused) the bird-tokens in one campaign... once I delivered a message covered in sovereign glue to an enemy (just out of spite). But mostly I used the bird-tokens as a tracking device to find missing companions or escaped villains who teleported away: We just let the bird...

    Seeking gamers or game D&D

Dear Scully (if that is indeed your real names), I will gladly DM you for the low-low price of one round-trip ticket to Gilroy (Onion capitol of the world)! Also, some munchies would be nice. Or just one Munchie, I am not picky. Also, do you have a cat, because that could be a problem for me...

Closure with letter writing exercise. ADVICE NEEDED

AuroraGyps, 3 things, maybe one of them will help...? First, Write without any intention of sending it. This will free you to say what you feel, instead of planning how he might react. Second, Putting all of those screaming, frustrating, recurring thoughts onto paper really does help to quiet...

    Shakespeare Under the Radar

**...William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice, with Al Pacino starring as Shylock. The Cast also includes Jeremy Irons and Joseph Fiennes...** I first read this as William Shatner's Merchant of Venice. :\ I would SO be up for that. --cherubkid (half cherub, all kid)

fireball can not only hurt you, but make you look funny as well

Yeah, it always pays to have a Disguise Self spell (or better yet, a Hat of Disguise) for just such an occasion. Nothing worse than having to roll Intimidate checks and suffer a -2 circumstance penalty for absence of eyebrows :uhoh:.
