GM's anyone ever have a Female?

Yes. Played with a few at cons, seen more. There was a woman we gamed with briefly almost 20 years ago that GMed once & had offered to run more. But she moved, alas.

    Best RPG buys of 2010?

Wait, what? Is that like the Imperium as a setting for Diaspora?

Fantasy Flight Games statement on Star Wars License

Green Ronin did Dragon Age, which you said was "overpriced, incomplete, and not all that hot rules wise". :hmm:

Fantasy Flight Games statement on Star Wars License

The thing is, they just got the license. They most likely don't have books or other product ready to go (who can afford to write & develop a whole game line before you have the license to make that game?), so it's likely to be quite some time before their products make it to market. Since it's...

Fantasy Flight Games statement on Star Wars License

I don't think that sounds very likely.

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

FWIW, that trick wouldn't actually work, at least not in 3.5e -- spells you cast with a duration of instantaneous can't hurt anyone else. You can summon, you can dump a bunch of delayed spells -- but there was no mention of Delay Spell. The scene in Sep's game might've been 3.0 rules, though...

Game of Thrones 10-minute preview Dec 2010

The problem is that they're also expensive. That's why Rome was cancelled, IIRC; the ratings were okay, but it was just so expensive (something like $100 million for one season) that they decided two seasons was enough. I'm hoping GoT doesn't fall into the same trap.

    EUREKA#10:O Little Town/Season IV/2010

Yeah, I don't think either episode fits in chronologically with the previous episodes. They were Christmas specials.

A Rose In The Wind: A Saga of the Halmae -- Updated June 19, 2014

Fortunately, Kettenek's Justice demands that Kormick not really worry too much about minor metaphysical matters like that. :D

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

Yes, I loooove revivify. I house ruled it to work if cast within level/2 rounds, too. I much prefer just-died resuscitation magic to "oh, you've been dead for days/weeks/years/decades, let's bring you back" resurrection magic.

    The Walking Dead

That assumes the zombie-causing agency is only passed by contact with the zombies. If anybody that dies for any reason turns into a zombie, and zombie bites just kill you & zombify you faster, then the apocalypse gets a lot more apocalyptic. How many people die every day? They're all zombies...

Game of Thrones 10-minute preview Dec 2010

FWIW, the plan (as I understand it) for the TV show is one book a season. Assuming it lasts that long, of course.

Superhero RPG w/o the kitchen sink?

Brave New World seems to have been more focused, though I never really got into it. Wild Cards is a setting that's a bit more limited. There are a few aliens, but they aren't like Kryptonians; there are people that look like wizards, super-inventors, demons, or whatever, but they're really just...

    The Walking Dead

The problem with snatching an APC is that they guzzle gas. Gas goes bad fairly quickly; realistically, by now, gas supplies are going to start being bad. So having an APC would just lead to more gas scrounging problems. Of course, no post apocalyptic fiction I've seen seems to take that into...

Space Gamer, Different Worlds, Fantasy Gamer, White Wolf magazine, Shadis, Pyramid...

Have you checked the Traveller wiki, here? They have contents for some issues. Hmm, but I don't see any reviews mentioned -- it might not be any use to you.

Mutants & Masterminds 3 preview art

Eh, I'm not too concerned. They were concept sketches, so the final art might be more awesome. And some of 'em are fine, to me. My problem is that Ultramarine is almost identical to a concept I've had for years -- woman in aquatic power armor. If she's part Atlantean, or has a sorcerous cousin...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

Yeah, once PCs are casting wishes and miracles, any time they fight enemy spellcasters who are of the equal-or-better category, the players have to expect the bad guys to bust out the reality altering magic. The NPCs are almost always going to be fighting for their lives, after all; they have no...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

There is certainly that. And rolling saves for every magic item might take slightly less than forever, to boot. OTOH, in my high level D&D experience, the buff-dispel buff tango happens anyways, and trips everyone up, and drags everything out -- that just seems to be how high level D&D rolls...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

You could always adapt the Pathfinder version -- the area effect version only suppresses magic items for 1 minute/level, unless they roll a 1 on the saving throw (then that item is destroyed). You can also target one item, which has to save at -5 or be destroyed. That version has the same effect...
