    D&D 3.x 3.5- Multiple shots with a bow?

IIRC, Races of the Wild had arrows that only took a -1 per range increment. I think they did less damage, though. Dragon Magazine (& the Dragon Compendium) had different arrows that added +20 ft or so to the range increment. Guided shot from SC also lets you ignore range increments. I had a...

    D&D Novels

The Icewind Dale books were actually written & published first. The Dark Elf books were indeed prequels, I believe (I've not read them). And TSR & WotC have published many books set in the various D&D settings. I think they did books in every one of the settings. Wikipedia has a list of FR...

What could a publisher sell you RIGHT NOW/

Not a whole lot, unless one of its characteristics was "very inexpensive", but see my status for why. :) But assuming I had money . . . A version of GURPS with a more streamlined or modular skill system (without having to resort to Wild Card skills), preferably something where we could "zoom...

What Makes Gaming Books as PDFs Desirable?

Foxit is free, and I think it does most of that stuff. Definitely does forms. I hope some excellent cross-platform format catches on, but it's going to have to have both a high penetration amongst consumers, and ease of implementation for publishers, to do so. Some way to auto-convert other...

    End a community supporter subscription.

I believe you have to end it through PayPal. I had a problem where I somehow got doubly subscribed, and IIRC, Morrus had me cancel via PayPal. (Then I renewed through ENWorld when it finally ran out.)

    Players in a military order

Yeah, usually, the superiors would give orders to go do something ("here's your mission"), and then the PCs (along with any NPC grunts) would go do it, as they saw fit (and often with some plot twist that made specific orders irrelevant). Usually, some PC was the unit leader (and rarely did a...

How Close is D&D Encounters to you?

I don't actually know; the nearest place would be about a half-hour away (23.2 miles, per Google). But I don't know if they're running Encounters; I'll have to ask next time I'm there.

    jann, janni, djinn, djinni, aaaigh!

Probably for the same reason you can encounter multiple minotaurs, medusas, hydras, and other mythological creatures that were one-of-a-kind in the sources, and you can summon angels and djinnis to help your group -- made up of a warrior in late middle ages full plate, a pseudo-Celtic druid, a...

    Players in a military order

Have you told the objecting players up-front that the military is only a starting condition, and that the order will shortly cease to be a factor? I've ran or played (mostly played) many campaigns where the PCs were in the military. They weren't D&D games, though; they were mostly GURPS...

    D&D Monster Manuals 2 +

There is no 3.0 version of MM 3, 4, or 5; they were all produced under the 3.5e rules only. Similarly, there is no 3.5e version per se of MM 2 or Fiend Folio; they were 3.0 books (well, FF was kind of halfway -- it was 3.0, but 3.5 aware); there are updates to the 3.0 stats, bringing them in...

    D&D Monster Manuals 2 +

Wizards put out a 3.5e update booklet & PDF that updated skills, DR, and other abilities for the 3.0 monster books (with the exception of the first MM, for which they did a 3.5e version). The PDF is still available at WotC's website, here.

Okay, I shouldn't have read this one at work. Even the title made me laugh.

    EUREKA #2: A New World/Season IV/2010

Did Zoe say she wanted to be an MD? I think there was a multi-part plan (like MD + PhD in something), but I'm pretty sure she was going to Harvard for the medical school. So far, I like this reboot, though I'm hoping that they don't just forget that they're from another timeline -- I hope Henry...

    Winter is coming...

I'm not going to bother being excited (much) about the next book of any series until I've actually got it to read. Ghost Story, A Dance with Dragons, Tongue of Serpents (it's out, but I don't have it), Republic of Thieves, whatever. Similarly, I'm trying not to get too excited about the TV show...

12 year old girls love, 20+ year old people hate

"Live and Let Die" and "Band on the Run". :p Note that I am not a big Wings fan -- I have never owned an album, though I'm sure someone in my family did when I was a kid. If you had asked me to name three songs, I'd have to go to Google.

    D&D 3.x 3.5- Multiple shots with a bow?

I suspect they're using the rule from AD&D, where bows got a rate of fire of 2.

What Makes Gaming Books as PDFs Desirable?

FWIW, I'm not tied to PDF per se; any electronic format would be fine. As long as it's DRM-free, that is; I'm not too interested in paying money for files I can't use if the folks who sold them to me can't stay in business.
