    D&D 5E (2014) WotC's Nathan Stewart Teases New D&D Setting Book in 2019

I think Rokugan belongs to Fantasy Flight Games now; not sure if WotC could do a new 5e version.

Goodman Games To Resurrect The Isle of Dread

That's what I thought, but then they released the Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron in PDF. Preliminary or experimental or whatever it is, it's still a PDF WotC is selling for $20.

Goodman Games To Resurrect The Isle of Dread

I wish Goodman Games and WotC could work out a way for them to have PDF versions of the adventures. Or electronic versions on D&D Beyond, maybe.

Ken Hite Is Lead Designer of VAMPIRE 5th EDITION!

I took it to be in reference to his previous statement (quoted immediate prior): if it was up to him, no one would play the "good" vampire; but for VtM5, moral redemption is possible.

If one backed the Indiegogo campaign, one might even know now! :D

[UPDATED] TABLETOP RPG Show Starts Filming And It's Starting To Look A Lot [Less] Like DRAGON AGE!

It does look like a Dragon Age character sheet. http://i48.tinypic.com/15nksgj.jpg Maybe. B-)

[UPDATED] TABLETOP RPG Show Starts Filming And It's Starting To Look A Lot [Less] Like DRAGON AGE!

Per his Twitter account, Pramas flew into Burbank on Sunday, and is retweeting Tabletop RPG-related stuff. Although, relevant to both Burbank and the "big announcement", I note that DC Comics' new HQ is in Burbank, and Green Ronin did do the DC Adventures RPG. So there is more than one thing...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

That was awesome. So... next campaign is what, again? ;)

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

Hmm. The True Name of a god is known but once, when the god dies. Hence, that Name could be said to be what marks the god as dead, and so Dranko just channeled it. Maybe?

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

I guess Grey Wolf found that fight... <sunglasses> ...hard to swallow. So, how many people prepared freedom of movement the next day?

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

From the description of the entity, I'd say your guess is probably inevitably correct.

    Shadowrun Adventures and Campaigns

The decker in my game is quite useful in meatspace - hack locks, work tech, and in combat, I almost dread the phrase, "Using Fork, I Data Spike the guns of this guy and that guy."

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

My guess is that it has something to do with the tentacles in his mind. Let's see, a series of aquamarine-glowing abominations that seem to really want to kill Dranko. This one shows up shortly after Dranko draws on the squirming thing in his head to make time stop. Nothing says the Far Realms...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

Or Aravis - the Crosser's Maze. Gotta be negative energy. That's what makes things dead most directly. Maybe one of the three is needed - any of them a cleric? Or Morningstar or Ernie, to cast inflict or harm or the like. "Drive the spike" - if "spike" is a poetic way to say "sword", that...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

I bet they were hoping for something more like "ready oil and open flame light the way to victory".

    Criticisms of 5e

I had a fair grasp of the 4e hacking rules when I was running it. One of the PCs was a street sam/hacker (since hacking didn't use any mental stats, it was pretty easy to make a gun bunny that hacked as a starting character), so the rules got used quite a bit. I also knew the 1e rules, but that...
