    Occ: A Eternal wand can be activated by any arcane caster without a UMD check. Edit: now i see the house rule about bards. Feather is shocked when her attempt to use the wand results in nothing happening. "He lied to me!" she says with disbelief in her voice.

    So any other thoughts? So far there is one vote for the wizard keeping control and one for the cleric getting control of the undead, with the possablity of it not being able to attack the wizard.

    I always thought of the attack gained from cleave to be from the same motion as the first attack. So that neither enemy would have the time to realize what was happening.

    I think it would work like increasing your int the increase doesn't work retroactively. Or like taking a level of a class that has a class skill that you have put ranks in as a cross class the skill points you've spent don't change.

    I am wondering what happens when a wizard uses the spell control undead on a zombie and then a evil cleric tries to use his turning ability on that same creature.

    Jack you are right, my figures were a little off. Would you require a specific feat for a character to be able to make these? Beyond the two crafting feats. This just seems like it could be a little over the top especially if you let arcane spell casters make them. A wizard could make one...

    Spellbooks as scrolls

    Would it be allowable by RAW to have a book of scrolls? Just using the pages of a book (very similar to a spell book) as the paper that you scribe the spells onto and then flipping to the page of the spell you want to cast. As apposed to digging through a bag of loose sheets of paper.

    I think this sounds cool. It might not be that balanced when you hire a spell caster he charges 5 gp per xp used casting a spell. A charge from a normal wand of cure light wounds uses 25gp worth of gear value, this instead uses xp valued at 10 gp. Also there is a severe case of diminishing...

    Skill = Profession

    I always thought that there should be a synergy between craft, profession and the related knowledge skill. I imagine a high level blacksmith with maxed ranks in craft(blacksmith), profession(blacksmith) and knowledge(?blacksmith) should get more than a +2 to each.
