I've played HarnMaster first edition, and from what I remembered, character creation involved too many random dice rolls from which modern-day games fortunately moved away from. The whole impression of the system was rather clunky, with too many tables. I have no idea what HarnMaster 2E is like.

Another question: How did everyone like the examples for character origins and motivations? Were they useful, or should they have been cut and replaced with something else?

Did anybody else have any problems with the font size? Some time ago, I ran a poll that asked for the preferred font size for gaming books. A 10 point font was the most popular choice - and unless I am mistaken, that's what the 4E books are using.

New Story: Beware of Shadow Dragons Bearing Coffee

I've created a How-to page for those new to wikis. I've also started a collection with External Links to other war stories on the Web, including the Head of Vecna and The Tale of Eric and the Dread Gazebo. Does anyone know of any other good stories elsewhere?
