    Player's Handbook 2: I haz it

The multiclass feats section in PHII says that the multiclass feat qualifies you for feats, paragon paths, epic destinies, and rituals.

+4 bonus, increasing to +6 at paragon and +8 at epic. That's it.

    Player's Handbook 2: I haz it

Their Memory of a Thousand Lifetimes can give a +1d6 bonus to any skill check, including knowledge skills. For something more active, the FR Player's Guide has a ritual called Seek Rumor, which basically allows the ritualist to use Arcana as if it were streetwise -5 for gathering information.

    Player's Handbook 2: I haz it

It doesn't have the rules, or the basic weapons, armor, and equipment.

    Player's Handbook 2: I haz it

What's the tweak? I'm playing one now, and I'm dying to know. Also, can you describe what the shifter feats do?

    Player's Handbook 2: I haz it

Aside from the songblade, are there any other magic weapons which can be used as implements? Does the songblade have any powers or properties aside from being usable as a bard implement?

    Revised GSL TODAY!

You're seriously misunderstanding what that clause means. You waive your right to a jury trial, not to any trial. You still get a trial, but it's with a judge making the final decisions. It's common to include this in business contracts, because judges are a lot more predictable than juries...

    Player's Handbook 2: I haz it

Can you describe the Avenger's at-will powers? It's the only class for which we don't have all the at-wills. Are there any feats that improve a druid's wild shape, or improve the Shaman's spirit? (And please don't just say "yes" :) ) You mentioned on your site that there's something that...

    Any ideas for a 4th Edition fighter / thief / magic-user?

Definitely. That would cover the stealthy fighter with a few magical tricks archetype. A multiclassed Chaos Sorcerer/Rogue could also work very well. It could fill the sneaky blaster with some melee capabilities archetype.

Help! I am overwhelmed by choosing items! Suggestions for 8th level Dwarf w/ Shield

For dwarves, Cloaks of the Walking Wounded (spend two healing surges instead of one when taking second wind), and Parry Gauntlets (add an additional +2 to all defenses when taking second wind) are very useful. If you plan on using tide of iron a lot, then Rushing Cleats would be useful (level...

    Your Real Self? Or Not?

That's what I tend to do. None of my characters are just "me", but riffing off of me in some way, or sometimes even a polar opposite of me. Recently I've been playing a couple reckless idiots. That probably has something to do with the fact that, professionally, I have to be thoughtful...

    Compagnion baest when level up

I assume you're talking about a ranger's animal companion, from Martial Power. They do gain attribute bonuses at 4th, 8th, 11th, 14th, etc. levels, just like characters. However, according to the formulae in the book, their HP, attack bonuses, and defenses are based purely upon their level...

    D&D 4E The Magic-User: a 4e alternate class

I voted "it depends." I didn't vote Yes because I don't think that D&D needs an alternate spellcasting system. I would be interested in seeing one though, as long as it's properly balanced, and doesn't have the lingering balance and utiiity issues of older editions' spellcasting.

    Martial Power fighter combo

I agree. The feat's probably too good even with just +Str, and +(2xStr) is ridiculous. The same goes for the Iron Vanguard's ability. Why not just be a barbarian, and take the at-will power that lets you push a target even when you're using a two-handed weapon. Then use a reach weapon and...

Martial Power and Races: Dragonborn and Tieflings

It's even more obscene when used with a multiclass Barbarian, whose Pressing Strike at-will can be used with a two-handed weapon, and who gets many powers that automatically push and prone every round. Then, for extra-special icky grossness at epic level, use a halberd and take Polearm Gamble...

    New Star Trek trailer online

Nice! Hopefully they spend as much attention on the plot and characterization as on CGI eye candy. It was the characters that made the original star trek great. I'm really not feeling Chris Pine as Captain Kirk. His performance in the trailer feels like "typical Hollywood movie brash kid"...

Martial Power and Races: Dwarves and Halflings

They can also start with a 17 Str and 16/16 in Con & Wis, or 16 Str 18 Con 14 Wis. With their minor action second wind and the Battlerager Vigor build they are extremely tough. Dwarven weapon training gives them automatic proficiency with some great superior hammers from AV, and one of the new...

Martial Power and Races: Dwarves and Halflings

Those are... impressive. Are any of the other race-specific Fighter feats this good, or has WotC just made dwarves with hammers the unequivocally best fighters in the game? How does Devoted Challenge work? Does it give you a new power, increase damage on basic attacks, or what?

    Good & Bad : Wizards

There's a very handy paragon-level feat in the Player's Guide to Faerun which also helps with this. It gives you a -5 penalty to hit allies, and if you do hit you only do half damage.

    Bard...Exotic Weapon Master?

The Bard will just have to also take a multiclass feat in a martial class. Problem Solved! ;)
