1st Floor – Reception Room
Clairemont Mansion
Yuri moves to the right of the door and just sort of... stands there, unsure how to ready himself.
Man I wish I was with the rest of the team. Well, I wish I was with Amisha... and Maria. Hell, I may get the cold shoulder from them both but...
1st Floor – Reception Room
Clairemont Mansion
"Allright Smith, pick a door and let's keep moving. Your choice, but make it quick." Yuri casts another gaze around the room. "Everybody get ready to move. I don't like it here. Grab whatever you think is useful."
Door number one... or door number...
There's really no magic rules at all in Swashbuckling Adventures. It's a good book though. I'd say about 75% of the material can be lifted out of the setting. Only certain feats and prestige classes are really setting specific, along with of course some background info and magic items. The book...
1st Floor – Reception Room
Clairemont Mansion
"Damn, it's locked." Yuri resists the urge to pound his fist against the armoire in frustration. Instead, he lays his hand on teh door, and leans his head slightly closer. "What the Hell? I think I hear something in there..."
Yuri turns and looks...
Again, I'm at a place where I just don't know what something is, exactly. So, this amoire, er, thingy... is it like a big cabinet? Is the front glass or solid? Does it just have doors, or like drawers too? Yuri's gonna open it, anyways, if he can.
1st Floor – Reception Room
Clairemont Mansion
Yuri watches to debacle at the door for only a moment. In the flickering candle light, his face looks pale and hollow. And grim.
"Everybody in, and make sure that door is secure behind us, Smith." he moves into the center of the room and holds the...
1st Floor – Entrance Hall
Clairemont Mansion
Yuri meets Amisha's eyes for a breif moment as they both touch the cool metal of the weapon.
"All yours, sweets," but he doesn't smile anymore. Instead, his eyes fall to her tended but still burning wounds, and the smeared blood on her uniform. He...
1st Floor – Entrance Hall
Clairemont Mansion
Yuri sighs at the now empty first aid kit, and then chucks it into the also empty fireplace, just as Michael finishes his speil about the alchohol burning idea.
He mulls it over a moment, but before he can respond...
Up and running... running...
I edited my last IC post a lil so that Yuri tells the Sargeant that they need water to wash out the wounds. Since he's treating the Sarge last, that should be okay, he'd have seen everyone's wounds by then. He's would have used the first aid kit on everyone's wounds but Anders and Maria, because...
1st Floor – Entrance Hall
Clairemont Mansion
Yuri doesn't say anything. He uses the first aid kit and the booze to clean as many wounds as he can. After he's done with Michael, he nods, and moves on to Issac, ignoring Amelia for the most part. He seems slightly disconnected, as if...
Personally, I'd recommend determining a number of uses, and then deciding that it can heal for like 1d4 or something per use depending on the skill of the user.
You know, in the RE games a first aid kit was just a pouch to basically hold first aid sprays.
1st Floor – Entrance Hall
Clairemont Mansion
Yuri kneels down and picks up the first aid kit, opening it.
"Allright... I need some light over here... it's getting dark in here. Well, darker." he says as he takes stock of the kit's contents. "Okay Mikey, you're first. Light that candle and come...
Yuri has the clothes on his back. He hasn't been wounded yet, and I think I used 1 AP so far. I'll take 10 with everyone who's wounded to examine them.
Okay... Yuri is gonna try to assess who is wounded the most and look at them first. I don't know how anyone wants to handle this part, but it's gonna go reaaal slow if we play out every examination. It's up to Kitana
But basically, Yuri will examine and treat everyone's wounds as fast and as...
1st Floor – Entrance Hall
Clairemont Mansion
Yuri stands still for a moment, breathing harder than he should. The club trembles slighty in his hand. The last shotgun blast still echoes in his ears.
Okay crazy lady... whatever. Geez... she's lost it. I don't blame her.
"Absolutely. Aye...
I'd vote Mutants & Masterminds. It's got everything you need to play a supers game, and it can do it all. Other people have already gone into detail as to it's merits. If nothing else, you can look at it this way: You won't have to worry about ever getting another Supers RPG ever again if you...
Clairemont Mansion
1st Floor – Front Entrance Steps
How many are there? We're gonna get overran before long if there's more than this...
Yuri stares for a second at the club newly in his hand and blinks at it in mild disbelief. Then, feeling like the world has gone into slow-motion, his...
I don't know about directors for DMing... but I know what celebrities I would want in my game.
Christopher Walken: He'd play a Wizard or Sorcerer, always show up on time, bring his own dice, really get into character, but in crucial moments, instead of casting a key spell, he'd pull out his...
Clairemont Mansion
1st Floor – Front Entrance Steps
"Sh*t!" Yuri curses as the tables flies past the dog monster.
He takes several steps back and once again grabs the door, ready to slam it shut.
"Okay, everybody get back inside! Come on, move it!" he sees shadows loom up out of the...
