I agree AND disagree with this, having no in-game rationale for the changes is like saying the Forgotten Realms are gone, but the Points of Light campaign is set on the continent of Faerun, we changed everything else. Divorcing the novels from the CS is probably the only change we could hope for...

If you think that check the game at www.arduin.com you start out with a set amount of HP and there are no levels, just a skill progression, the more you use the skill the better you become at it. Each class has three class skills and you purchase others with your XP.

Then what happens to non-generic weapons like tiger claws, chakram, latajang, three section staff and other exotic/racial weapons? You're system is fine for a computer game but flavor is one of the reasons frpg's exist, otherwise we's still be playing table-top war games.

I think each new PHB will contain new Power Sources along with the classes able to utilize them. Also new races, feats/talent trees/whatever and spells/powers. maybe even new Magic Items. Bel
