Potions identified as antidote (x2) and invisibility. If no one in particular wants them I suggest Daedarai takes the invisibility (most lethal if he can stay unseen, best stealth AFAIK) and Mina takes the antidotes (closest to a "medic" type who can deliver them as needed due to staying out of...
While the boys examine the things, and with the poisoner pretty well out of it, Shen decides to talk to Mina about trees. Or, about the people who live among them, mostly. And, to anyone with the patience to listen, really. It's a good diversion from the gash in her side, and it's nice to be...
Everyone has 1 hit die per level, so you have another one if you want to spend it. But you only recover half your total on a long rest, so don't spend it if you don't think you need to. Shen has 2 per level as a quirk of the playtest ranger I'm using.
Another thing I'm not sure how to handle...
Hit dice:: spending 2 to heal to full.
HD the first: 1D6+1 = [3]+1 = 4
HD the second: 1D6+1 = [6]+1 = 7
I don't have anything in particular to say, unless Daedarai finds the poisoner competent to examine that poison, in which case I'll ask about the goo if no one else does. Aside from that...
"That's disgusting," Shen complains, eyeing Alejandro's makeshift torch as she wipes toxic liver sludge off her hands. "It's gonna stink."
But, it's probably not a bad idea. The guy they're rescuing should have some idea what this junk is. She strips the hands of as much meat as she can, wraps...
Unfortunately, while Pathfinder has a lot of elements that seem cool, when I look at the mechanics all I see is this. But it's a good opportunity, maybe I'll get to it if I find a builder and some time to study rules.
Hide is justifiable for a physician, to me. They're primarily a non-combatant, and probably lightly equipped. It would be naturally easier for them to hide than for many other classes. Throw in that they're inherently close-range characters due to the need to get right up next to someone to...
The same list of loot from the campaign thread. Pasting it here so we can parsel it out at our leisure while the story continues. Even if we don't end up casting any sort of vote or anything, it can at least serve as a convenient consolidated list.
(Shen's votes)
- Studded leather, thieves'...
Shen soon has all the bits separated out: the brain, the shovel-hands, a probable heart, stomach and contents, a couple bones. The usual suspects, mostly. She wipes the goo off her hands with sand and a rag, and puts the spare body parts off out-of-sight a bit.
"Hey, anyone wanna see what I'm...
"Oh yeah," Shen returns absent-mind rely. She'd forgotten the weird hands. Those probably weren't natural. That's why he's the boss, though.
As did I forget them.
Second Wind is d10+level, so 1+2 for you. Also, Action Surge lets you take 2 actions on the turn you use it, and also charges on a...
That's three]l whole HP, you lucky duck, you're level 2.
I heal extra well on short rest because of my funny hit dice, so I'm not worried about the potion either.
"Over here," Shen calls back. "Found some stuff. Y'all should check it out."
She picks up her trident and shakes off the blood. (That ought to help with the bleeding) she thinks, looking at the stash. She takes it easy on her left leg as she walks, kicking the goblin corpse aside, and grabs a...
I'm good with the change. I will take the small Liberty of saying I dropped my bow the previous round. Also, was your previous post implying that the goblins didn't even follow me, or that they just couldn't keep up? If they're right on my tail I'll adjust my actions.
Shen holds her side as she...
'Cause the blood is gonna spray, spray, spray, spray, spray
And the plan is gonna fail, fail, fail, fail, fail
Baby I'm just gonna fade, fade, fade, fade, fade
Al, shrug it off! Shrug it off!
OUCH
There's no "full action" or any other kind, there's just an Action. And a Bonus Action, if you can take one. Two-weapon Fighting let's you take the second attack as a Bonus Action. Movement is unrelated to these. Your Action lets you take one attack right now, Bonus Action for a second attack if...
(Well, nuts.) So much for plans. Shen jumps as some goblins pop out in front of her, half-accidentally loosing an arrow in their direction. (Let's have us a rodeo, then.)
Attacking whichever goblin first. Then a ranged attack on any damaged goblin near me if I'm fast enough; if something...
Shen cocks her head, her bow lowering a little as her thoughts distract her. These things haven't even attacked yet. What are they looking for? They're unlike nearly anything she's ever fought, certainly unlike any mere pack animal.
An odd thought flashes across her mind: are they even real...
"Fellas," Shen murmurs, just loud enough to be heard by her companions; "this ain't the best position? They know we killed their guy and where we're at. Better relocate. Fast."
Not waiting a moment, Shen slips back into the darkness, fastening her weapons to her back and drawing her bow.
Going...
Sorry for length, I tried to be as efficient as I could :P
The first Shark feature applies after a hit is confirmed, but before rolling damage. The only effect of that, as far as I can tell, is that occasionally the attack's damage would have been enough to kill the target by itself, so the...
Insight to guess what the goblin was communicating: 2D20.LOW(1)+2 = [19, 14]+2 = 16
Shen whips around at the sound of Alejandro's shout, and the arrow hissing through the air, and the goblin's chatter. Just the echoes through the corridors afterward are deafening. The elf is frozen, eyes wide...
