If WotC deliver on all their promises...

I bet english is not your first language, so I'll try to help: hy·po·thet·i·cal   [hahy-puh-thet-i-kuhl] adjective Also, hy·po·thet·ic . 1. assumed by hypothesis; supposed: a hypothetical case. hy·poth·e·sis   [hahy-poth-uh-sis, hi-] noun, plural hy·poth·e·ses  [-seez] 1. a proposition...

If they deliver half what they promised, I'd jump into the bandwagon

    Muahahaha! (Evil "Kingmaker")

We played the regular Kingmaker, and my CE sorcerer did pull the group to a lot of questionable choices. The group was mostly CN, quite like the River Kingdoms rules (some of those rules, like "you own what you can defend" are actually into the CE borders). The KM campaign actually tends to this...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5E and the OGL

You seem to be in a mistake. I WANT the OGL. And I think in the current conditions, they need some version of the OGL. The question is not what *I* think, but what *Hasbro* thinks. And I doubt they praise OGL as much. The 6 million (or whatever is the real number) was not supposed to be the...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5E and the OGL

Sure. That's the point. TSR and others *did* the same thing a lot of times before. Yet no company rise to be a threat, because no one had the possibility. No OGL means the company can make a new edition when they see they need to do so to keep the sells high. With OGL, you aren't free for such...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5E and the OGL

In the meanwhile, how many of them did go to Barns & Nobble and bought the book without you in the country? My message is there are like 20 gamers writting in this thread. And like 6 millions who don't. WotC should not try to catter the 20 people writing in this thread just because they are...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5E and the OGL

I once throw a stone to a dog, and the dog bite me. It was by no means a given, the dog might had run frightened, but that's what happened. So I won't throw stones against dogs, ever. WotC might be right about how inevitable the OGL was, or they might be wrong. Maybe it was not a given, but it...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5E and the OGL

I think that's the wishful thinking of the devoted fan who wants to think he is important to his hobby, insead of just one extra face in the mob. You are right in that the most vocal ones can change the tenor of the conversation. But "do like I want, or I'll be spouting bile in the internet...

    Rogue Design goals . L&L May 7th

That's not exactly true. Being able to do 200% damage in the first round (especially if sneaking), and then nothing in the second round, is much much much better than doing 100% damage per round in two rounds. Much, much better. 200% damage on the first round might mean no retaliation. I'd go as...

Green Berets disengaging to hide in the jungle and prepare an ambush are bad at fighting? Go figure.

D&D is NOT Kobolds surviving Fireball

That's why Legionaire Devils are Minions in 4e despise being epic level :P

D&D is NOT Kobolds surviving Fireball

"Minions" is both an english word, and a 4e game term. I don't really care that much if you like or not the 4e Minion, it's up to you. But minions (the english word) are part of D&D, since the begining of Chainmail. A kobold is, by definition, a minion. You don't roll damage for your fireballs...

D&D is NOT Kobolds surviving Fireball

So true. There was a time when a Red Dragon had 88hp. In those times, 10d6 from a Lightning bolt would had been a big dent in their life. In 3.X, those Red Dragons had more than 400 hp. The "quintaessential fireball" is not the same in 3.X than it was in AD&D, or the Red Box or whatever.

D&D is NOT Kobolds surviving Fireball

Regular MINIONS should die in one fireball (or warrior's Cleave, for that matter). Be those minions kobolds, goblins, orcs, HUMANS, or even devils. Kobolds who aren't minions (ie: a 4e Elite Kobold Chieftain or a 3.5 Kobold with 8 levels in Sorcerer and Dragon Disciple prestige class) shouldn't...

    Flatter Ability Score Bonuses

My brother had a Kagonesti Elf that had 18/00 (legit, roll in front of me) and I got a 18/00 which was, actually, got in game (I got a STR bonus from a Deck of Many Things with a STR 17 fighter, got 18, rolled the first d10, got a 0, rolled the second one, got a 0 and started to dance :) )...

    Flatter Ability Score Bonuses

You don't need to flatter the score bonus, you need to flatter the score, imho. The problem is not the fighter has 18 str and +4 to attack. The problem is he has 18 str +2 racial bonus, and he gets free pumps every few levels, and depending the edition, he gets a free +6 enhancing belt and +4...

D&D is NOT Kobolds surviving Fireball

I've seen kobolds with class levels in 3.X. They not only were able to withstand a fireball, but some had evasion an took no damage from it. I don't understand what does 4e have to be with this

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

Cohorts are bad crafters. When you are 9th, your cohort is 7th, and can't craft rods yet. It's a cheap way to cheat a few extra feats, but it is not free. Sure, the guide assumes you are playing in a regular game, under Pathfinder rules. If your DM does not allow crafting, you won't craft. On...

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

BTW, this AP is lvl 1-20, and you can maximize/empower fireballs at lvl 9 (when you take "craft rod" feat)
