    Gencon - who's going?

Myself, my fiance, and his best friend are going together... and I'm thinking of skipping the Rpga game I signed up for friday night so I can make the ENnies. :)

    Looking for a mapping tool

I saw AutoRealm mentioned above, but as there was no link I'll add one: http://www.gryc.ws/autorealm.htm. It's free, and it's an excellent program which I think produces some really nice maps. The learning curve on it is also a bit less than on Campaign Cartographer. ~Chris

    Draconians from Dragonlance

see Draconian Measures... A while back I bought a copy of Draconian Measures in paperback, and I believe the converted 3E stats were listed for each of the subspecies in the back of the book. ~Chris

    Looking for a spell database...

Thanks MidKnight! I'm going to import Necromancy now that I've finally finished the documentation (whew!), and posted it online. The beta isn't up there yet, because I want to give it one more good once-over before I upload it. Unless I find any major problems, that will be late tonight or...

    Quick GenCon Question

Yes, you can. My fiance, our best friend and I did that cause we had no choice... since I bought all the badges, I was the only one who could log in and purchase events. Just to be on the safe side, we called customer service too. They assured us it wouldn't be a problem when it came time to...

    Looking for a spell database...

dougdineen: Your spellbook program looks cool! Crimson_Squirrel: Thanks for the offer, I'll post here and email you when it's ready for testing. :) I'm working on export capabilities right now which I hope to finish either this weekend or soon thereafter. Once that's done I'll be putting it up...

    Looking for a spell database...

Yes, it's Java based and uses an Access database for the spell information. I have PCGen but don't use it often (only because I usually end up making characters together with the group, and I don't always have my laptop with me) so I'm not that familiar with it. If you could point me to some...

    Looking for a spell database...

Wow... That would be so awesome... it would save me a ton of work, and I would really appreciate it. MoF is a real monster; I'd been putting it off for that reason. :) As far as the sources go, whichever way is easier for you works for me. I had planned on adding the ability to turn off...

Ya. You can find it here: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/pclass.asp :), Chris

    Looking for a spell database...

That would be awesome... the more spells the better. I actually wrote a custom class to parse the information from a plain text file for when I import a lot of spells at once. The class I wrote is pretty easily modified, so I can really parse from any format you're comfortable putting the spells...

    Looking for a spell database...

Good question... the answer is yes, absolutely. I just didn't want to clog up this thread with a ton of pics. As I get closer to finishing the first release of MageLab I'll be putting up a whole bunch of screenshots and detailed instructions on my website. I'll post a link here in a couple weeks...

    OK, Who's Going to Gencon???

Cool! I'll have to wear my ENWorld shirt that day. :)

    OK, Who's Going to Gencon???

I'm going... and this year I signed up for mostly RPGA LC/LG events, plus a couple other RPGs. Is anyone else playing in these events? It would be cool to play with/meet other ENBoarders... Living City Intro (Thursday 8:00 AM) Rokugan/Oriental Adventures d20 Intro (Thursday 12:00 PM) Kobolds...

    Looking for a spell database...

Thanks for the compliment... :) I've finished redoing the GUI interface, so all that's left is the spellbook management, which I don't forsee any complications with. I should have version 0.6 ready by the end of June. Some of the item creation functionality will be missing, but all the rest will...

    Looking for a spell database...

MageLab I'm working on a program which does some of the things you're looking for, called MageLab. Unfortunately, it's not yet complete... I'd put it at about the halfway point. When finished, functionality will include: Item Creation, which will calculate costs for creating scrolls, potions...

    Sindarin elvish translation?

Thanks. :) I'm actually working on that now using the Tengwar fonts put together by Dan Smith. They actually come with a really helpful guide on how to do it. If anyone is interested, they can be found here: http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/4948/index.html

    Sindarin elvish translation?

No worries, A2Z, and thanks for the title of the book, I think I'm going to try to track that one down. :)

Would you pay for cool features?

I'd pay, but not because of the features. I'd pay just because I love this place. And I'd pay more if the user limit could be dropped... I don't post a lot, but I've been a constant lurker since before 3rd Ed came out and the boards were Eric's, and when I come here and get that "server busy"...
