Special offer on Boiling Water, apply now at the gate.

Mmmh... boiling water isn't as hot as alchemist's fire, OTOH, there's more of it, hence the damage. If it's too low for you, how about making it 1d6 fire + 1d6 subdual from the shock? The Reflex save's fine, it's the same as for a tanglefoot bag, and should prove challenging enough for lvl 6-7...

build best powerplay warrior lvl 40

Yup. Play an elf, go Lloth-touched warblade 20/eternal blade 10/swordsage 4/master of nine 5, not necessarily in this order (go warblade 16/swordsage 4 before hitting lvl 20 so you optimize your saves and only lose 1 pt of BAB).

Special offer on Boiling Water, apply now at the gate.

2d6 is too high for boiling water that has flown a while through the air. Make it 1d6, same as Alchemical Fire. The average Kobold has 7 Str and is small, meaning max load 52,5 lbs, and I'd say tipping is a mix between push and lift off ground, so let's say a single kobold could tip a 210 lb...

    A Kensai's Signature Weapon

I thought it was the point of becoming a Kensai... The fastest you can enter kensai is after completing 5 levels of Knight or Paladin. Meaning you'd have the equivalent of a +5 weapon by the time you hit lvl 10, and +10 by the time you hit lvl 15. Now compare the cost of such weapons to the...

    Monks and AC

A Str monk doesn't focus on Dex... that's the whole point. He focuses on 2 abilities, being Str and Wis, and saves the feats (monks are really, really feat-starved).

Help me create a broken, munchkin character!

You might even throw in Improved Sunder and Combat Brute (CW); there's a maneuver that grants you unnamed +x to hit nd damage each time you bull rush your opponent... synergizes particularly well with Knockback builds. Be wary of Setting Sun swordsages, however. Counter Charge can be a real...

Which of these two maneuvers should I take

Then you can always use Iron Heart Surge to get rid of the debilitating effects... Frankly, Mind over body may be nice for Swordsages with low Fort save and lots of maneuvers to spend, but for a Warblade, IHS is definitely better.

    Wisdom to AC ... twice?

The issue with unarmored swordsages has been discuted in Wizard's FAQ, they said the Wisdom bonus applies and the book was poorly formulated, not reflecting the intent. Nevertheless, Monk's and Swordsage's Wis bonus to AC do not stack, as it specifically says so in the class ability...

Multi-classing on way to Divine Crusader

If you can find space for an extra useless feat, namely True Believer, you could get one level of Pious Templar, which opens a new spell list and above all grants you the amazing Mettle ability.

Ariael Duama: Female roguish high elf Rogue/Swashbuckler/Escrimeur [please critique]

One little mistake: Weapon Finesse is a Swashbuckler bonus feat, no need to take it at 1st level. A solid melee build, but for its level, lacking: - Decent perception abilities (Darkvision etc.) - Movement options (Flying, Spiderwalk, teleport...) - The ability to properly deal with ethereal or...

    Feats for level 1 Duskblade

You said it: once per day. Not worth wasting a feat on it. Duskblades are already feat-starved, they don't need a slot wasted. Buy a Metamagic Rod later, it will do.

    Feats for level 1 Duskblade

I'd say Power Attack and Arcane Disciple (Strength or War). Sudden Maximize is pretty useless. You can pick Quick Draw later on, but I doubt it would be that useful. PS: you can't Channel spells at 1st level... it comes at 3rd.

Build for a Warrior-type Cleric (Core only)

The weakness of a Trip build is the Int 13 requirement. Clerics tend to dump Int as they so badly need other stats. If going CoDzilla with Core, I'd say pick up PA and Cleave at the beginning, Extend Spell at 3rd, Scribe Scroll, Quicken Spell and Improved Initiative somewhere else. In an...

Weapon finesse for a monk ?

Yeah, and don't forget that Disarming/Sundering with a light weapon nets you a -4 penalty... Dex also helps resist Trip and increases your Escape Artist skill, which will be your only way of getting out of a grapple alive.

    DuskBlades

Uhh... no, I don't? I mean, there ARE some pluses and minuses in choosing one class and not the other. Otherwise, just make a d12 full BAB full arcane and divine spellcasting class with 3 good saves and 8 skill points per level, and throw in psionics and martial maneuvers and Incarnum while...

    Halflings and Thrown Weapons

Per RAW, yes and yes. Well... we're talking halflings here, aren't we? You know, the small-sized ones with a Str penalty, wielding small-sized weapons?
  19. K

    DuskBlades

It wouldn't, IMO. The duskblade would trade offensive abilities and movement for defense. Give it a try, and if it's unbalanced, take it back. Side note: I would STRONGLY advise you not to let the DB get Mirror Image. For a primary melee character, Mirror Image is just way too good.
