Monster recharge rolls at the end of the turn

As far as remembering goes I use a d6 sitting on top of the monster's name on my tracking paper, if it's on 6 the power is available, if it's on 1 it isn't.

    Character Builder Copy and Paste

I think having a plain text output that's copyable (like the stand alone builder was) is very reasonable

    Character Builder Copy and Paste

That's a different issue, I think it was largely people complaining about the size of the printed character sheets on the print queue and the time it took to print in some situations. Based on a quick reading anything you print out of silverlight is done as an image. Even if you've got things...

    Character Builder Copy and Paste

it depends what you're doing. In this case I think the idea is that the character sheet is meant to be used solely as something you display and print out rather than something that can be edited. In that case it makes sense to generate it as something that silverlight can display and print out...

    Essentials feat too powerful???

at the cost of a couple of feats and still gives you a 35% chance of missing 1 turn. I don't see this as a real problem. I don't see that as a big issue. Characters who get isolated to try and use the feat will commonly still be in a world of pain as monsters focus on them.

    Clerics Hurting to Heal

    1) for non-dwarves second winding means that the person isn't acting for a turn. Generally that's a bad thing as either it reduces control of or damage to the enemy 2) maybe, but there are other nice cloaks out there (my archer ranger had one that gave a bonus to AC & reflex if she moved at...

D&D 4E What level have you achieved in a 4E campaign?

The original campaign we started about 3 weeks after the first 4th ed books were released (shipping to Australia) would up a couple of months back after everybody reached level 30 and fought Orcus. I played from 1st to 30th level as the same character without even a temporary death.

    Polearm Feats

the greatspear can't be thrown as a weapon. most spear feats need dex (as do quite a few polearm feats iirc) so that could be an issue for you. to get Polearm Gambit at level 11 if you don't want to put any stat increases into it you need to start with Wis 14 (it get's +1 at level 11)...

    Polearm Feats

The Greatspear is a superior weapon polearm/spear added in Adventuror's Vault.

30 levels, without the epic tier

Lots of mythology (Hercules, various Indian mythology, Cu Cuhlain.... spring to mind as examples) in terms of modern fantasy books The Eternal Champion books by moorcock, most of David Edding's works, Raymond E. Feist's Midkemia, The Mistborn Trilogy by Brian Sanderson, the Wheel of Time by...

    Battlefield Archer quarry damage

Toughness versus Defensive Mobility is dependent upon the style of the player and the style of the GM. +2 to AC versus attacks of opportunity saved my character from taking damage a fair few times. The pet loses you Prime Shot iirc and that cuts out +2 to hit and +7 to damage with the right...

    Polearm Feats

I tend to favour the greatspear as a polearm +3 proficiency and the spear feats give you a lot of options for what you do (ludicrous amounts of forced movement, knocking people over if you move them 2 squares or more, ability to target reflex instead of AC on basic attacks...)

    Battlefield Archer quarry damage

I believe that there was a faq response that it did apply to the whole party.

    Why Do You Subscribe?

I use the character builder and compendium quite often (easier than looking through all the books for feats for example) I like Dragon and occasionally rip ideas from Dungeon. The price isn't really enough for me to worry about currently.

    Battlefield Archer quarry damage

As far as ranged ranger paragon paths go I see Sylvan Archer, Battlefield Archer and Sharpshooter as being the top picks in terms of effectiveness (there are others that are really nice for flavour) All 3 of them are effective but I think Battlefield Archer is the best pick (although I did often...

    Battlefield Archer quarry damage

One of the big factors is that you commonly want to be close. With feats like Called Shot + 5 Damage versus Prime Shot Targets Improved Prime Shot being closest to the enemy is huge My level 30 BattleField Archer would commonly have AC 55 versus opportunity attacks (45 Base, +2 Defensive...

    Rules for attacking objects/disarming?

The bigger issue is that disarming player characters makes things extremely unfun.

    Rules for attacking objects/disarming?

There are no general rules for disarming in 4th ed.

Early Access to Paragon and Epic Tier feats == disaster?

It's probably not going to be too bad but I think you will want to discuss the feat selections with each player so that you can rule out ones that seem too powerful -> and there will be some.

Immediate and Free Actions - how many?

It's all dependent upon the situation and the actual free action. A 10 minute speach sure doesn't fit in a round. a couple of pithy one liners would.
