D&D 5E (2014) WotC will not allow translation of D&D NEXT.

There are a few Danish RPG systems out there, but even they tend to use English terms. I dunno. We are a tiny country and we are used to adapting to English, so for us it isn't unnatural to throw the two languages together like that. Heck, Danish as a language has become infested with...

D&D 5E (2014) WotC will not allow translation of D&D NEXT.

I'm Danish too. We game in Danish, but use English terms for our descriptive stuff. 'Reaction', 'Spell Slots' etc are thrown in along with the Danish. :-) Everyone here has a pretty good grasp at English, and even those who don't understand that "this term means so-and-so in-game".

D&D 5E (2014) Is there a magic point system still in the DMG?

Niko in the "answering questions about the DMG" confirmed there was a spell point system. Something about a level 20 caster having 133 points, but still being limited to one spell per day of level 6 and above spells.

    D&D 5E (2014) Dungeonscape no more?

Nevermind, someone else already replied, but yeah, wasn't looking too completed to me.

    D&D 5E (2014) Dungeonscape no more?

Beta was going very slow. It would have been months before anything workable was available. Realistically, they should have made all this software ready for the launch, but even when they didn't, they ought to put some serious commitment into it or simply not bother. I'm not sure where the...

    D&D 5E (2014) DungeonScape Beta Gloat Thread

Yeah, it seems Apple products are most important for them. Unfortunate for all those who don't use iOS devices. They should really aim to make web work first and then export to other devices later, but iOS first is the chosen strategy. :-(

Not as far as I can see in the web beta at least.

    D&D 5E (2014) DungeonScape Beta Gloat Thread

It's far away from being finished. What's there already (character creation and somewhat functional positioning of the character sheet (though only for vertical viewing afaik)) looks good, but it's a bit worrying tbh.

    D&D 5E (2014) A Glimpse Of High-Level Play

    Very interesting. An optimistic read!

    D&D 5E (2014) DungeonScape Beta Gloat Thread

Hoping for an email shortly too. Looks like an interesting program, and one we as testers should aim to give as much feedback on as possible given how integral it might become in our gamer lives. :-)

Have you ever deliberated TPKed a party to set the stage for another campaign?

My upcoming campaign will start with a TPK - only for the party to be ressurrected to a few weeks before the nasty business takes place, in order to go forth and stop the catastophe from happening. :-)

    D&D 5E (2014) Hoard of the Dragon Queen - a solid D effort.

I can second this in all of my RPG groups (7,6,4 people respectively). I hadn't heard of it until a week or so ago myself (well I'd heard the term reading previews here on EN World, but figured it was something for the american game stores and cons), and I certainly don't have any of my dozens...

D&D 5E (2014) YAML (yet another monster list)

Nice one! One possible glitch: CR seems to sort by the first number only, so if you sort reverse number, you start with the CR9 monsters.

D&D 5E (2014) Starter Set single-page spell sheets for cleric and wizard

*BLUSH* There we go. :-) I checked the "Thumbnail" option for the files, thinking that it might be presented like small images. It should work now! Thanks for the assist, guys. :-)

Starter Set single-page spell sheets for cleric and wizard 1

A couple of spell sheets I made with all the spells available, DC to save, and spell progression through level 5. Wizard characters can use a marker to indicate which are in their spellbook, while the cleric can freely access it all. If anyone fills in brief descriptions I'd love a copy (or if...
