Normally when I try to think of something clever, I fall short.

And if racial bonuses didn't matter?

Really anything. A +2 to your relevant ability is nice, but by no means necessary. I've said it many times that your racial powers and feats matter far more than your ability score bumps. A +1 to hit and damage is easily drowned out by a dwarf using second wind as a minor action, or an...

    Mike Mearls Ruined Everything

Mike Mearls ruined the concept of ruining. Nobody else can ever have the pleasure of ruining something, because of Mike Mearls.

Essentials Dice Set vs. Premium Dice = WTF?

The d10 is enough reason for me to buy them. I love that the red box has that.

There's also the Wizard of the Spiral Tower paragon path.

Essentials Dice Set vs. Premium Dice = WTF?

Plus you get the dice bag, which counts for some of the cost. Seriously though, I've seen dice sets go for much, much higher than $13.

    [Essentials] Awarding Treasure

By most random treasure generators, yes this can happen. It's one of the big reasons why I love the parcel system so much. But, that being said, it's also the prime example of rule zero coming into play. If you've gone through several encounters with no treasure, most DM's would fudge the roll.

Is there any way to get a 3rd At-Will, besides...

There's a style feat that allows a Fighter to use Cleave as Crushing Surge. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, though. Edit* Untamed Berserker Style

Pathfinder 1E If Paizo can, why can't Wizards of the Coast?

I think a more apt comparison would be to Savage Worlds. the game was first produced in 2003, and we've already had two revisions, one of which they flat out call a new edition. You notice the savages don't grumble about it.

Savage Worlds - Our First Game

The penalties for automatic fire apply whenever your gun is on full auto, either firing at it's full ROF or using suppressive fire. Neither a double tap nor a 3RB incur any penalty, but they only target one person. Think of a 3RB as kind of like a ranged Wild Swing. You make one attack with a...

    Race First!

At least it's better now than it was. There's a lot of support for off-ability builds, like Tiefling fighters and whatnot.

I've used them for portals, damaging areas in the elemental chaos, large scale bonfires, etc.

    D&D 4E 4E Essentials: Dungeon Masters's Kit in Hand

I can't argue with any of those items being rare. I like how they're at least trying to make magic items wondrous again.

    How to fix Dragon

If they were thinking ahead and said "Maybe we'll put pure elementals in later." or the fact that many elementals are frequently referred to as fire elementals, even if that's not their proper name, yes. It's the same way with nearly all the summons and familiars. Wizards even summon "Abyssal...

Savage Worlds - Our First Game

Nope, neither double taps or bursts incur a shooting penalty.

Savage Worlds - Our First Game

Suppressive Fire is basically spraying an area with rounds. You lay down a MEdium Burst Template and make a Shooting roll, with standard modifiers for range, auto fire penalty, etc, but not cover. If you beat the TN of 4, all the targets inside the area must roll Spirit with positive modifiers...

Savage Worlds - Our First Game

It's also worth checking the rules for three round bursts and suppressive fire. They're two rules that get ignored a lot, but are exceptionally useful.

    Another feat tax?

The scaling d20 values were the big problem with the math back in 3.X, and the leading source of rocket tag. I'm still not convinced of the entire feat tax argument, but I'll agree with you on this point.
