    How to fix Dragon

Not to be too picky, but there is one. It's called "Summon Fire Warrior" Wizard Daily 1 from Arcane Power. They changed the name to avoid confusion if you summon the fire warrior while fighting fire elementals.

    How to fix Dragon

I can agree with this. What I'd like to see is a new monster-as-race writeup each issue. Go ahead and call it "Savage Species" if you like. I mean, it's two years into the edition, and there's no real support for playing Bugbears, Goblins, Hobgoblins Kobolds or Orcs yet, and these would...

    Should FLGS have Edition Bias?

This thread reminds me of the basic problem of the FLGS. Game stores are usually owned and run by gamers, not business people. Gamers frequently have edition bias, and will push products that they enjoy simply because they enjoy it. They tend to be passionate about the hobby, and they tend to...

    How to fix Dragon

When WotC first released Dragon for 4e, I was very happy. The first issue was great, imho. Here's a breakdown of what we had. Issue 364 Demonomicon featuring Yeenoghu. 11 page article with five monsters. Vor Kragal. 10 page article with two normal magic items, an artifact and three...

How Essentials and beyond is a ...zucchini...

I get your view, just not your choice of zucchini. Are you picking a random vegetable and attempting to create your own meme, or is it something established?

How Essentials and beyond is a ...zucchini...

I still don't understand the analogy. Does anyone else?

    Look Ma- Rules Updates!

Even the bonus to Will defense is nice. My favorite thing about the sword and board fighter I played a while ago was his high NADs. Primary ability for Fort, Shield for Ref, and secondary ability for Wis. Throw in human on top of that, and you've got some very decent defenses across the board.

    Villainous Villains of Villainy...

Alright, so I'm in the process of planning an Underdark campaign, and I need villains. Masterminds, thugs, fallen heroes, anti-heroes, corrupted nobles, everything that can be thought of that fits in an underdark setting. Overall, four plotlines are emerging in my planning, with numerous...

Dungeon Tiles Master Set and other Essentials, I got a look

Methinks one of the dungeon tiles master sets is mostly ruins of the wild stuff.

    Savage Worlds: Question for Ari

Each arcane background receives a different number of powers, power points and mechanics. Depending on what type of magic, they'll be different.

    Essentials Power Cards

I've taken to using the compendium to copy and paste the appropriate information into a document, then fill in all the relevant attack bonuses and damage. That way, you have the information on hand, but aren't constrained by the space limitations of cards. I did this with character abilities...

    Unboxing the DM's Kit

That's part of the reason why I love wishlists so much. Handing out treasure is much easier this way, and it makes my prep easier so I can focus on the parts of the game that make it good, like encounters and story. Sometimes I just give out gold and call it a day, let the PC's equip...

    Unearthed Arcana!

Here here. I use custom monsters, there's no reason I can't use custom rules.

    Essentials Character Sheet Online!

I'm very glad about the expansive notes section.

    Savage Worlds: Question for Ari

You can take as many actions during the first, but for every standard action beyond the first, all actions take a cumulative -2 penalty. However, you can't take the same action twice in a turn. Moving your pace is considered a free action, but like most all actions it's not repeatable. As...

    Essentials Character Sheet Online!

I really like that sheet. It's been my opinion since 3.0 that the WotC sheets are too cluttered. I'm looking forward to seeing how well it works in play.

    Red Box: Some Constructive Criticism

The argument has nothing to do with the style of play, or what is necessary to play the game. It's strictly a question of value, and how much material you get for your dollar. By your statement, it can be inferred that there is nothing else that can be added to the Dragon Age boxed set to...

    Red Box: Some Constructive Criticism

I've made no statement about a game experience or content. I've made statements about production values, and the overall value of a game based off amount in the box and not content. In fact, I've made several statements saying that I'm not judging the content at all, because I have no basis of...
