    "Behind the Spells" print compilation

I know at least some of you follow my Behind the Spells line of pdfs from Ronin Arts. With only 5 issues left in the series, the print compilation will likely not be terribly far behind. Besides packing in all of the pdfs from the series, I plan on adding the following: *Errata from reviews...

Gord the Rogue Returns in Hardcover (TLG PR)

Sweet! I just decided to delve into these "classic" novels after reading the original story in Dragon #100. The copy of Saga I got from Amazon is a bit rough around the edges so it'll be nice to have this new version.

D&D Cartoon - We have a release date in the US!

I'm pretty happy right now with my bootleg copies but if there's a shadow of a chance that it has decent extras then I'll pick up a set. I still watch at least one show of this series every Sat. morning before work, just to get me in the weekend mood. :) Gauge your interest?! If you don't...

    Recommend a Skill-Based Magic System

Of course, if you'd just like something to do with the Spellcraft skill instead, you might want to have a look at the Behind the Spells series.

    FLGS in Philadephia, PA?

Just got back from my excursion to Days of Knights. Definitely was a nice place and quite friendly. Nary a freak to be found. ;) Picked up a Maztica box set on the cheap, The Coils of Set (Necro/Kenzer), and the print version of Hot Pursuit (while plugging my own POD Dread Codex from Adamant).

    FLGS in Philadephia, PA?

Hmm, after perusing the website this does look good. In fact, I just planned a drive for Newark tomorrow to see what they've got. Thanks for the suggestion! :D

    FLGS in Philadephia, PA?

I was also going to point you towards Showcase in Bryn Mawr. There's very little else in the Philly area that I've been to that has been worthwhile.

    Time Master

Not sure if you're just looking for "d20 time travel" or really want the TimeMaster way of doing it, but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out this supplement: http://shop.enworld.org/index.php?do=product&productid=129&source=Search%20for%20temporality

    Has this been done yet?

Yeah, after looking these over the rules do look a tad wonky. I want to stay closer to the PHB familiar rules and rule out already magical familiars (which UA addresses). That said, I am borrowing one thing from that book's writeup. Animated objects need "senses" after all. :) Thanks for...

    Has this been done yet?

I'm working on a proposal for DRAGON but don't want to waste my time on a topic that's already been addressed. The topic is: animated objects as familiars. These would be along the lines of a PC's favorite cloak, mug, sword, etc. Anyone ever come across this in an official source?

    Post your favorite mood music...

I'd rather suggest something along the lines of what you're looking for as there's quite the plethora of music out there. I will say that if you're looking for a "campaign theme" then it should be something that you play at the beginning/end of each adventure to keep the feel (like beginning or...

Sell me on creating new d20 fantasy PDFs . . .

I'll just repeat the advice on writing fantasy when you get some spare time (whatever that is). I think you've said before that when you do get a kick-ass idea, you can write it in a very short amount of time. These are the kinds of brain storms you should probably wait for. Fantasy will...

Dungeon Crawl Classics #29: The Adventure Begins

To be honest, it's been so long since I wrote the thing that I don't remember. I'm usually a stickler for keeping with the DMG treasure rules though, if that tells you anything. :)

Dungeon Crawl Classics #29: The Adventure Begins

The adventure I wrote for this clocked in at around 8,800 words. Whether that number stayed the same (or is even similar to the other adventures), only the editors know for sure.
