    [Tricky Owlbear] Upcoming Releases

That's an excellent point about creating rather nasty version of, for example, the pseudodragon. And although we don't have any submission guidelines, you're more than welcome to send some ideas our way.

    [Tricky Owlbear] Upcoming Releases

This suggestion actually brings up a good point, Anna. Do people really want to see good-aligned creatures in the series? I would think no, since BtM deals with not only where the creature came from (or first entered mainstream consciousness) but also how to fight them. That's good to hear...

    [Tricky Owlbear] Upcoming Releases

I'll hold any comment on that until we get this first print product out the door and see how it sells. That said, I'm hopeful that the BtS: Compendium won't be the last print item you see from us.

    [Tricky Owlbear] Upcoming Releases

Yes, indeed. We thought it was a good idea as well. ;) And, yes, you'll be seeing the dark creeper (and stalker) stats from ToH. Thanks! I'm also looking forward to seeing what Mike comes up with on Demilich.

[Tricky Owlbear] Behind the Spells: Sanctuary released!

I don't know whether it's due to Paizo's announcement, the GM's Day Sale, or just the fact that we've finally reached spring, but Tricky Owlbear has had its best sales month yet. Thanks for your support, folks!

[Tricky Owlbear] Behind the Spells: Sanctuary released!

Vascant: That's a neat approach to spell use. I can see where you can get alot of mileage then from the series. Reveille: Excellent! Hopefully, each issue brings something useful for you to plunder. As always, feedback for current or past issues is invited either here or at our own forums.

[Tricky Owlbear] Behind the Spells: Sanctuary released!

Thanks, Reveille! I've started a list of spells mentioned here and elsewhere. Out of curiosity, are your choices based on wanting to see what histories I come up with or are you interested more in the variant mechanics/related items and spells?

Pathfinder 1E [Paizo Publishing] Paizo Announces the Pathfinder RPG

Besides being elated at this news, I also look forward to seeing how well Pathfinder succeeds. As for a surge of new sales, I have to admit that, yes, we have seen more sales than usual. I chalked it up to a recent new release but you may be onto something here, Vascant.

[Tricky Owlbear] Behind the Spells: Sanctuary released!

I wonder if more people thought as you did, Vascant, as this release has greatly spurred the sales of previous BtS titles (as it ideally should). As always, were listening for suggestions for future issues. I doubt The Walls, for example, would have been written yet without the requests for it.

[Tricky Owlbear] Behind the Spells: Sanctuary released!

I suppose it was, for a short time, after Phil (Ronin Arts) and I decided to stop producing it in the middle of '07. But after I started up Tricky Owlbear, I knew that I had to continue writing the secret origins of our favorite spells. An already established series seemed like a no-brainer to...

Seconded. We've all been there, John, and after all this time the company deserves to be outed.

[Tricky Owlbear Publishing] Behind the Monsters: Skeleton released!

The first review is in: http://www.rpgnow.com/product_reviews_info.php?products_id=54697&reviews_id=16842 There's a good point raised here--what can we do to instill a "wow" factor into the series as we seem to have covered the basics well enough.

    Sticking w/ 3.5: Any Publishers?

For sure, Tricky Owlbear will be publishing 3.5 material through '08. Our first print product, Behind the Spells: Compendium, is in the works so not all 3.5 will be pdf for the year. :)
