Have you seen/met any of these D&D "celebs"?

Not on the list, but... I met Jeff Easley when he did the cover artwork for a small game company I worked for right out of college. I had the task of going to his house to take a photo of the completed work, since the print was going off to the printer and it would be weeks before we would see...

when the unimportant details are a little too interesting...

From the other perspective, my gaming group is playing in an Eberron campaign that started off with a WOTC Eberron module (Shadows of the Last War, IIRC) but has gone way off track. What began as a (somewhat) quiet boat trip to chase down a puzzle piece, quickly turned into a business...

Milwaukee - Looking for a new group

disziplin, Did you ever find anyone to start a game with? I wouldn't mind playing in a weeknight game in the local area (I live in the West Allis area), but it would probably have to be more on the 2 times a month schedule.

    Commuting to a game

I live in Milwaukee and drive once or twice a month to the Gurnee/Libertyville area which is about a 45 minute commute each way. I've been doing that commute for over 5 years now. It's well worth the drive.

    Best Table Set-up

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to assist in my search for a thread I can't seem to find that detailed a GM's table-top setup where he used a projector to display the group map. Does anyone recall this? I've gone back a few weeks now, and can't seem to find it... Any help is...

I definitely like! Especially the swords, although I like the axe designs as well. I would like to see a little more of a fantastical style to them, but not too much embellishment, I really like the clean, simple look to them. Does that make any sense?

Just the weapons, and I would prefer either Celtic or Gaelic (you chose!) Thanks!

How about some celtic swords, shields, dirks? I run a Midnight campaign, and there is a race of humans called the dorns that borrow heavily from celtic/viking cultures. That would be great for player handouts, if you wouldn't mind :)

Definitely like the realism that you bring across in your drawings. Although I think the weapons should stand out a bit more, the grey seems to blend in with the character's dress a bit too much. Maybe that's just me, though! Would you take any requests for items (rings, swords, shields)?

Escape from Hurricane Katrina + Live Blog from N.O. Hell

When the first reports were coming in about police standing by while people looted pharmacies, grocery stores and the like, I thought they were excercising prudence by letting people secure necessities in a time of crisis. But I immediately thought to myself, "I hope they are going to at least...

    Thongs

I went commando a lot while in the army. Changing underwear every day while out in the field for 20 days is just another hassle (and I can't even imagine packing 20 pairs of underwear to the field!), so I got pretty used to it. IIRC, many Vietnam vets went commando to avoid jungle rot in the...

For those that drink, what's your poison of choice?

I haven't had a Black and Tan in years... most bars never get it right. Personally I've always loved me some Black and Whites (Harp and Guiness). Bushmills whiskey is usually my favorite. Especially if I can get my hands on a Purple Label... mmmm... aged 16 years in three different types of...

Why are my FLGS completely ignorant?

Not long ago I went in to my LGS and was inquiring into the release of the second edition Midnight. Now, I frequent the www.againstheshadow.org website quite frequently and had heard from Rob Vaughn himself that Midnight 2.0 would be shipping to game stores within the week (he even had a picture...
