Same. It's a narrative device, not something they can immediately see. In my Keep on the Shadowfell game, in the second kobold encounter, I used the same miniature I use for minions to represent the Kobold Skirmisher. They kinda ignored him, assuming he was a minion. They got a nice surprise...

Yeah. They do now. I read/rationalize Sleep as a spell that suspends a creature in a sleep-like state. It's not the same as closing your eyes and counting sheep.

I was just thinking how nice it would be, when playing in play-by-post games, to just log into a site, move you miniature on a game mat, save and exit. At any time, any player could go in a view the map and change their character's placement. There are tools that allow this, like Maptools, but...

I don't know why, but with 4e I don't feel the need to coddle the PCs like I did with 3.5. I'm running the Keep on the Shadowfell encounters as is, and I'm using the monster's abilities to full advantage. If they die, they die.

Yeah, I don't know why it displays "File Not Found", but you can click the name of the file to the right, or click the "Download Image" button and it should work.

FINALLY! Got the bottom level completed. Check out the OP. I posted a link to a 1/4" sample image and a link to download the full 1" scale image file. Both have white backgrounds to make it easier for those of you who want to print it.
