Still cheaper than the castle from last year and close to the price of the LotR tie in.

D&D General Which D&D-related You Tube channels do you find worth watching? (+)

The only one I think nobody has mentioned yet is Puffin Forest. I like the campaign logs. But yeah, I second -or third?- Pointy Hat, I like his channel a lot. And I'm happy to see Treantmonk and Dungeoncraft when they pop up in my feed, I also check when other channels show interesting stuff...

WotC WotC partners with Start Playing to connect players and DMs and form tables.

Hey, I think I'm almost at this from the opposite end. I'd love to play, but am happy Dming. I would love to have a reliable schedule for an extended campaign -or even do the paid gig-. However, the best I can do time-wise is maybe one shots on short notice and I'm not sure if anybody can be up...

A lot of snark over the years has been in the form of "You still have your books, WotC isn't sending ninjas to take them away." I'd rather it be ninjas instead of thugs...

He purchased from a legal business that gets product from a legitimate distributor and received the wrong boxes. (That are worth less than what he paid for). How is that illicit?

In short, having 3.x as CC is insurance that they won't try to yank it away. The OGC growth has stalled because people are weary of contributing to the commons, having it also be CC would help alleviate these concerns. Also, it has way more content than the 5.1 srd.

WotC New D&D survey from WotC as part of the 50th anniversary year.

Look, I'm aware that one cannot avoid everything evil/bad whatever. But I live in the country with seven of the ten most dangerous cities where people who did nothing wrong getting harassed by armed goons is a common and tragic occurrence. To me, this is way too close home for comfort. I...

Sending armed goons to someone's home in order to intimidate them into submission is in my definition of evil. Literal criminals do that in my country and it is not pretty. (No seriously, not laughing matter)

It's valid to you, but to me it is triggering. I want my hobbies to be made by companies that feel welcoming and wholesome. Them sending armed goons to a fan's home over what is essentially a toy is too much. There's too much gun violence around me to overlook it.

    Just saw Delicious in Dungeon

Finally caught with it! I don't watch too much Netflix anymore, but it is pretty funny and quite good.

Giving us the 3.x SRDs now on CC would be cool.

    D&D General other possible elements?

I feel offended by this. You forgot chile, carne and cream. Edit: and it is corn, not just tortilla.

D&D 5E (2014) Players, would you play in a game that only used the 5.1 SRD?

I can think of some reasons. The SRD is free. It is in multiple languages. It will remain the only longterm "in print" version of the original 5e which is important for those who don't want to move on to the next not-edition. Plus, each of the subclasses is the most iconic.

    D&D General other possible elements?

Yes, they are overdone, but from the binary perspective good/bad. The dark I refer to is the cosmological dark, what we cannot see but that holds time and space together and the material souls are made of. Not merely the absence of light. And music/sound like @Tonguez mentioned, the comic symphony.
