    BoEF had some good ideas, but more context would have been nice. I disliked the additional ability score, but Perform wasn't bad. At least some of the feats made sense of "chainmail bikini".

    I think that something like a cross between 2e and 3e MM is the thing to aim for. Traps, hazards, adventure hooks and other encounters (non-monsters) belong in a separate module.

    The game should work straight from the core, without patching. I also think that keeping the number of core classes to 11 (the 3e number) is fine. Either this, or keeping to the classic 4. More classes can be added later, but I want the core ones to work without the add-ons.

    What about Druid? I've heard it's a really good class for soloing... can do most things, and if he can't, he can wildshape, and he has animal companion and spells...

    "Good design work"? You think this is *that* good? Unfortunately, none of my closest friends play any RPGs, so I'm not doing playtests at the moment. After it's 100% finished, I'll publish it somewhere (in Polish) as free pdfs, and then I'll do the English translation. And then you're welcome...

    I'd put clear explanations of terminology the moment it is introduced, and I'd use manevuers from Tome of Battle instead of the 4e powers.
