    Well, I'd say that tabletop definitely requires Intelligence (note I didn't say above average), which leads to a self-fulfilling prophecy someone mentioned earlier. I am more interested in the topic of graduation theses about RPGs.

    - The number of supplements and the fact you couldn't make a reasonably good character without using them - fighters, I'm looking at you. - HP inflation in 3e.

    I like it when a setting has a power evels table, like the one presented in the topic. Maybe not explicitly stating who belongs to what tier, but still. Anyone knows examples?

    I'll just say that splatbooks should die in a fire - they are an awful part of the D&D. And I don't see anything wrong with TV Tropes.
