NC Game Day XV - January 26

I think I will run Low Life Saturday morning, but also bring the stuff for RunePunk in case we have a GM shortage for Saturday afternoon. Pepster

NC Game Day XV - January 26

I actually have interest in all of these. Savage Worlds is my system of choice, but Grim Tales meets my d20 Modern needs and I'm always drawn to post-apocalyptic scenarios as well. All of these sound good!

Pathfinder 1E Recommend me Some Paizo adventurers

Thanks for that clarification, James. We'll start up again after the first of the year and our DM is anxious to continue. To stay on track, the Paizo adventures have some fantastic artwork to show your players. At key points in Crown of the Kobold King, our DM will show us one of the NPC's or...

Pathfinder 1E Recommend me Some Paizo adventurers

No, we are mostly 30+ years of age. From my understanding, the question was whether the darkness of the adventures was essential or just meant to shock. Our DM is active on the Paizo boards, and he said #4 was toned down due to the controversy surrounding the subject matter of #2 and #3.

NC Game Day XV - January 26

Savage Worlds, anyone? Here are some Savage Worlds scenarios I am considering for NC GameDay: 1) Low Life: The heap (adventurers) is asked to investigate the discovery of a Hooman-race artifact in the Moonular Cheese Fields. If you've ever wanted to role-play a sentient snack cake...

    Savage Worms (AoW+Savage Worlds)

In the Fantasy GM's toolkit you will find 40+ new powers (spells). I have been using those to help convert a couple of the Goodman Games modules to Savage Worlds. Pepster

Pathfinder 1E Recommend me Some Paizo adventurers

At the FLGS our DM is running Rise of the Runelords for us. So far it's been good (about mid-way through #1). We have taken a break for holidays and one of our players is adjusting to having a newborn in the household, so we have been playing Crown of the Kobold King. It is good as well...

Tell me about Necropolis (Savage Worlds setting)

The first softcovers came out at Origins 2007. That's where I picked mine up. Pepster

Desert of Desolation Gallery is up!!

I see some minis I could use for other settings besides fantasy. I play Savage Worlds, and some of these look great for RunePunk. Overall I think this set has more for me than the prior 3-4 releases. I must have the gelatinous cube. I too think it will be like the stirge when it comes to...

    I am a cream-filled saviour of Oith. . .

Low Life Hey jdrakeh! If you think the book's a hoot, you ought to play in a game run by Andy! I remember being attacked by hair bares, finding the pic for them, then trying to stifle my giggles for about 20 minutes in game. Low Life is more post-apocalyptic than fantasy. After a world-wide...

    Origins

Had a great time! I had a great time at Origins this year (my first "big" con), and was worn out by yesterday afternoon. Maybe it was that pickup game that finished up at 3AM on Saturday night. Played lots of Savage Worlds including the same scenario that Charles played. I spent too much on...

Free RPG Day is fast approaching, is your FLGS participating?

Above Board Games Above Board Games in Fort Mill SC is participating. Unfortunately I will be missing it as I will be with my remote gaming group that weekend playing d20 Modern and Savage Worlds. Pepster

Real life beasts that need more attention

I got stung by what I believe was a saddleback when I was a teen. I had seen one on a small mimosa tree and when I brushed under the tree one day he popped my left shoulder. It felt just like a tetanus shot. No blisters but it left a couple of freckles where he blasted me. Ouch!

    Origins

This will be my first "national convention". I will be spending a lot of time playing Savage Worlds with the other Savages. The other part will be spent in seminars for Pinnacle, 12 to Midnight, and possible Paizo if I don't have other plans. I may sneak in a boardgame or two. I'm going...

    Adventures in Origins Registration...

Since I call my employer "The Corporation" and didn't want to make any attempts from work, I waited until I got home from work, around 5:45PM EDT. I got booted once, but the cart saved everything I was attempted to sign up for. Surprisingly I got everything I wanted. Pepster

    EN World Mug Shots!

There's no need for concern. There's no Ms. Pepster. Yep, that was me playing the medic. I thought it was a fun game as well. Pepster

    EN World Mug Shots!

Folks, what you've got here is a veritable who's who of EN World/Circvs Maximvs. I spy Belen, Dave Stebbins, Clueless, TCLynch, The_Universe, QueenD, Toras, and some other folks that I'm not certain of their EN World names (I think reveal and NCSUCodeMonkey). Alenda was running the game at the...

I'll second the The_Universe's opinion of this adventure--it's awesome! You'll have a great time in this adventure. Pepster

Long Road to Hell- Chronicles of Carolina SUNDAY 9-1 FULL!

I got to play this adventure at the last NC GameDay. David captures the feel of the post-apocalyptic genre. Much recommended!
