Agreed. In my D20 Modern campaign, I've adopted the idea that the minis are simply idealized representations, "game pieces" if you will, but aren't meant to be tiny exact replicas of the characters. I think it does a well-rounded, fleshed-out character a disservice to visualize them as a little...
