I agree... this was definately one of the lamest changes. I was rather upset when they were released on DVD and Lucas promised the true originals will never be released on DVD.

Few things: Be careful on pricewatch, there are some shady places out there. If you want a definately reliable site with good prices and reputation use: www.newegg.com I would not recommend a GF 5700, that's a mid to lower end card last generation card, and can actually be SLOWER than your GF...

I've kind of fallen out with this series. There are some good actors and the main plot is interesting, but it moves glacially slow. I'm bored of the 4400 wacky power of the week that always "shockingly" turns out to not be what it seems. I'll watch it if I catch it, but it's getting painful.

Check the website of the W-Lan card maker to see if they have newer drivers. The ones on the CD it came with are likely old. Many wireless card drivers had issues with XP SP2 and released updated drivers.

Sounds like a memory leak in a program or a bad driver perhaps. It could also be the drive like Psionicist said also. First thing would be to check for a virus or spyware. What programs are running on bootup? (Can be checked with msconfig started from the command prompt, check the 'startup'...

Whoa slow down... that power supply is a good brand and plenty sufficient for the components he has listed. Now that isn't to say it couldn't be faulty. Here's a nice web page where you can calculate the peak total wattages of your PC's components. He's well within range...

SoIaF are the best novels I've ever read, period. Since you plan on reading both series, I don't think it matters which you read first.

Just saw it this afternoon. I gave it a 9, near perfection. Hands down the best Batman movie ever, and perhaps even the best superhero movie ever! I can see what some people are saying about the fight scenes, but I believe it was done with a purpose. It's explained in the movie even as Ducard...
