Because the contract explicitly forbids the licensing of websites, and the only way to use the logo directly is on licensed products. Sure, one could post a picture of a product that itself contained the logo. But thats about the extent of that if my reading of the GSL is correct.

This may be a bit pedantic, but they can not add the logo to their site according to the terms of the GSL... They may however announce plans to use it.

Once a defence has been used, it can not be used again in a round (there are ways of getting extra defenses). So if you have multiple attacks coming at the same target, his defenses can be overwhelmed.
