Nice catch....my dad's family is actually from Bytom, which is basically a suburb of Katowice.

[Polyhedron] The Bimonthly "What's the Next Minigame?" Thread

I thought the "I, Jensaarai" article and the "Kage" article were both very good. The artwork for the "Kage" article was good, but the drawings of the characters didn't really match the descriptive text of the article.

What are you going to do with ur 3.0 books after 3.5 comes out?

I'll give them to my son. He's got the Adventure Game and that's it.

    Why's that?

    [Poly] Character Sheets?

Erik, how about giving us a specialized character sheet in future issues of Polyhedron for some of those spiffy d20 Mini-Games? (I'd also kill for a Forgotten Realms-specific D&D sheet).

Seeking suggestions: "Shadow Chasers"-ish adventure (My NPS group, please stay out.)

Why not just pick up a copy of the Darkmatter PDF at rpgnow.com? I think it's $5.00.

    V for Victory!

A bit of the material in V4V is based on d20 Call of Cthulhu, which in my opinion is the first WOTC effort to adopt the d20 rules to a modern setting. The article even states that some of the skills come from that game. The weapon stats that overlap between V4V and CoC are also identical.

Modern Player's Companion from The Game Mechanics

Are they making a print copy of this for sure? If so, I may hold off on buying the electronic copy.

[V for Victory!] Anyone playing it?

Pinnacle is putting out a book this month called Weird War II: Hell Freezes Over - The Russian Front. I've got all their books and I've found that they work pretty well with V4V. I haven't gotten the Russian book yet, but I have the ETO, North Africa and Pacific books. Lots of vehicle rules...

Shelzar: City of Sin; Questions, Answers and stuff in between

Sounds like the product has somewhat of a "mature" bent? Would that be an accurate thing to say? Also, how is the artwork inside?

[V for Victory!] Anyone playing it?

I'm using some optional rules from Weird War II, which is a bit more fleshed out but not as polished as V4V. Anyhow, we'll be starting a campaign soon with the Allied invasion of North Africa (Operation Torch). I'm probably going to run a campaign style somewhere between the Medal of Honor...

    [Dragon] Lord, the cheese...

I hate having to look sheepish when the mag comes in the mail and my wife says, sarcastically, "Well, isn't that nice?" That said, I don't get the controversy over this cover. I actually thought the Phil Foglio "bare buttocks" art that graced the April Fools 2001 issue was more explicit...

V for Victory --- any comments?

Thanks...I just picked it up and it looks that Chris Pramas might have used it as a reference in developing V4V. Basically, it looks like Cthulhu d20 was d20 Modern before there was a d20 Modern. I like the additional weapons, too. Going by the weapons I found in both Cthulhu and V4V, it...

V for Victory --- any comments?

For those of you have have the Cthulhu d20 RPG: do you think it's possible to run V for Victory with the d20 system rules in that book as opposed to the D&D Players Handbook and Dungeon Masters Guide?

V for Victory --- any comments?

This website is for Weird War II (the original d20 WWII RPG), but you could easily use this guy's material in V4V: http://www.mchome.net/dirk/weirdwars/
