    Science Fiction/Superheroes

One could contend that not only is it the greatest thing since sliced bread, but in fact the greatest thing prior to sliced bread as well.

The same trick can be done with Mindbender, another 1 level dip favorite.

    Appearance Altering Ideas?

Alter Self continuous item: 2 x 3 x 1800 = 10800. Limited to only "younger appearance self" could easily cut that in half or more, depending on the DM. The dragon to human one is a bit more expensive.

Where did this strange DM quote come from?

Then Pun-Pun got sad, as the DM merely said "no".

Keeping low level commoners competitive in athletics

Keeping low level commoners competitive? Easy. Have them play against other low level commoners. Just like in the real world, if you took some guys who play softball on the weekends for fun and have them play against the American League All Stars, they will get blown away. A pro athlete...

Summon Swarm: Too powerful with errata

Also note that the caster can't control where the swarms go. Especially mobile foes (monks or barbarians for instance) can just move so one of your friends is closer to the swarm.

    Teleknesis: where's the power?

Sustained Force: A sustained force moves an object weighing no more than 25 pounds per caster level (maximum 375 pounds at 15th level) up to 20 feet per round. A creature can negate the effect on an object it possesses with a successful Will save or with spell resistance. So: Fighter 20 feet...

    Computers at the gaming table

The problem is the player, not the computer. If someone is going to web surf instead of roleplay, chances are he'd have his nose in a rulebook or sneak a gameboy under the desk, or just doodle in a notebook if he didn't have a computer. It doesn't change the fact that he isn't paying...

    Losing a Dragonmark

No, it cannot. This is is mentioned in one of the novels, and I'm fairly certain Hellcow addressed it in one of the Ask Kieth Baker threads. Exiles often have the mark flayed from their skin, but that is more symbolic, as it grows back.

    DM Types

Basically I'm everything EXCEPT a director or Master of Ceremonies. I tend to be too much of a plotmeister for my players' liking, and too good of a duelist.

Best Five RPG Books You Own

In no particular order Mutants and Masterminds 2E MnM: Ultimate Power Draconomicon Eberron Campaign Setting Spell Compendium (though I would've preferred an explicit list of spells that changed from their original printings)

MMV: Not sure I like this...

So again: You want to make the feat make it so casting defensively does nothing. The fighter would get an AoO against someone who casts defensively. That is explicitly MORE powerful than Mage Slayer.

MMV: Not sure I like this...

Wait time out. You want to make a feat... that allows you to take an attack of opportunity... on someone who is trying to cast defensively... Now compare that to a feat that ALSO give you AoO, but at least gives the enemy spellcaster a warning first (in that he realizes he cannot cast...
