Does True Seeing see some who is using Hide in Plain Sight

Camouflage (Ex): A ranger of 13th level or higher can use the Hide skill in any sort of natural terrain, even if the terrain doesn’t grant cover or concealment. Hide in Plain Sight (Ex): While in any sort of natural terrain, a ranger of 17th level or higher can use the Hide skill even while...

Reserve feats from the complete mage

The problem there being the warlock having a kinda sucky schtick, not the reserve feat.

    Supernatural abilities vs. Detect Magic

Detect Magic only ever explicitly references spells and magic items however.

    Do racial bonuses stack?

Stacking is the wrong word. Stacking would be if it said "in addition to the normal elf traits, Grey Elves have +2 Dex." THAT would get confusing. :)

    Crystal Shard

Then again, I see no problem with the idea of conjuration spells that create rocks, metal stabby things, and the like being stopped by DR either. Conjuration [Creation] and Metacreativity both in theory create non-magical/psionic things which in turn should act normally.

Touch of Healing [Reserve] feat from Complete Champion Excerpt

You didn't answer my question. How much would you charge for a magic item that would grant a fighter power attack? (a ring of evasion for comparison sake is 20k) My point is that in general, feats are "worth" more than 4500 gold. So having a feat that emulates an unlimited wand of magic...

Daylight Pellets (MIC pg 156) - Question

Look at the duration of the Daylight spell. Now look at the duration of the item.

Touch of Healing [Reserve] feat from Complete Champion Excerpt

How much would you charge for an item, perhaps a set of gloves, that gives a fighter power attack? One feat being equivalent to a 4500 gp item? Seems fair enough to me.

Touch of Healing [Reserve] feat from Complete Champion Excerpt

This is really the moral of the story. Warlocks (and their ilk such as the Dragonfire Adepy), Tome of Battle, and Reserve feats are specifically aimed at a certain style of play. They are a crutch for players (meaning all people playing the game, including the DM) to make the system more...

Start with a druid, max those skills, add some sense related spells from spell compendium.

    Mythic exemplar (Complete Champion excerpt)

It's basically the sneak attack and grant allies bonus which which allow early entry. That being said, the class doesn't strike me as terribly overpowering if you get in one level early, especially for the rogue.

Touch of Healing [Reserve] feat from Complete Champion Excerpt

No, it isn't a legitimate concern. Unless you're saying Super Mario Brothers, Dance Dance Revolution, Final Fantasy, Morrowind, Streetfighter, Warcraft: Orcs versus Humans, and Tetris are all the same, and share features which Dungeons and Dragons also shares. So saying "video gamey" means...

Touch of Healing [Reserve] feat from Complete Champion Excerpt

Also the "video game" argument ignores that fact that many video games DO have resource management in some form or another, especially computer/console RPGs. Back on topic, regarding reserve feats in general: I don't see a problem with allowing casters to have some tricks that they can do at...

    Mythic exemplar (Complete Champion excerpt)

Agreed, it probably was supposed to read caster level.

    Longsword PCs

Rough estimates: In a 4 person party, 3 are almost guaranteed to be NOT using a longsword (cleric, wizard unless elf but even then that hardly counts as "using", and rogue assuming a ranged/dex finesse rogue). So really it is only a sub-set of the warriors. And even then, it is only a sub-set...

Point #1 does not automatically lead to point #2. Why can't it be intentionally disturbing and unfunny? Why must it be slapstick only?
