I indicated 20 just to be sure. There'll be 4 of us from down south and 3 in loball's clan if he makes it.
Lost Caverns is a 1e (The "O" in "OAD&D" means "Original") adventure. And yeah, I usually call for a roll-off to pick characters to determine order.
Has anyone worked on prizes? If we manage to get a minimum of four, we could do an MVP for each table. I'll talk with my FLGS this afternoon. The rest of you you see what you can scare up, too.
Game Day is now three days away and our tables aren't full!
There is one (or more) opening in Graveyard Shift in the afternoon. Folks signed up for evening games who might want to get some cojones (sorry, HM attitude leaking out) and try a little Hack include garyh, e3_Jeb (fat chance with that...
Another assignment for the 'saurus. Call Denny's and have them arrange seating for a group of 20. They must have business groups, church groups, club groups, that kind of stuff frequently enough to handle it. That way, every one just goes in and looks for the big group!
I figured I guessed right since the acronym for EchoPhantom is EP, the xp in HM. Wow, he played in the Western Regionals and he's not interested in another Hack? That's disappointing. HackJoe, I'm sure, would be willing to GM Lucky. He GMs his little brother regularly.
I can't think of anything that has bugged me since OAD&D. I fixed it all long ago. Someone mentioned the Vancian system. Not in my game. That was the beauty of OAD&D. If the DM didn't like it, he changed it and that was written into the "rules." Went far beyond "Rule 0," evidently. I came out...
Hey loball. That module you have can handle up to eight players. Wanna open it up? HackJoe wants to get in at your table. And you might want to get EchoPhantom (if I'm guessing right) signed up in HackJoe's game. If we end up needing more room in that one, I can ask if he can accomodate.
And...
If "lotall" ;) is any indication, your 10 year old will be just fine. Have him sign up for tsunami's afternoon game, though. I think HackJoe is going to have a full table.
I have your e-mail. Can it handle 3.5 megs? You need a four or five meg mailbox for this module.
Ah yes! I remember you two and you were both great to run as players. We had a lot of fun in that tourney. Like tsunami asked, are you willing and able to run the evening d20 session? You two can join me as a player in the afternoon HM session and maybe your son would like to sign up in my...
Tsunami, if you have a free yahoo account, I believe the largest file you can receive is 3 megs. The Temple, zipped, is just under 3.5 megs. Got another account that can handle it? If need be, I can cut it in half and send it to you in two pieces.
If you can change that "most likely" to "cravenly" or verify that he actually has a copy of the module, kill him. Early. Outright. With a grudge monster. Send the player packing the first fifteen minutes of the session. If he wants to bitch, explain to him that you'll not interrupt the game for...
Mike has informed me that he will definitely not make it. I tell you guys, if I ran 3e (I have, but I don't like it), I'd be tempted to run this Temple of Pazuzu. It's just different enough to look real interesting. How often do you get to run in the tropics with bloodthirsty and superstitious...
