    Beginnings Series, Part I

I like the kitty story (sad) that you posted on your blog, so I picked up a copy of your book from Amazon. I'm a slow reader, so it will take me some time to offer feedback. Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading it on me iPad. :)

    Anything new regarding D&D ebooks?

It makes me wonder if pulling the ebooks actually reduced piracy of these books? I just want to read them on my iPad and would pay good money for the privilege. Yet, the only option for reading the magazines is a digital format. It all just doesn't make sense. Paizo and other competitors...

    Anything new regarding D&D ebooks?

Yes, that is the interview I was thinking about. It is just weird to me why they are not apparently eager to get my ebook money. Perhaps we will hear something 'soon' :p

    Anything new regarding D&D ebooks?

Hi folks, I've been away for a while. I recall that shortly after certain 2011 books were cancelled, somebody at WotC wrote in a FAQ that we should be hearing something about eBooks soon. Anyway, that's the best of my recollection. I've scanned recent pages in the forums and see nigh mention...

D&D 4E Is it me, or are we in a 4e dry spell?

I can't seem to shake the feeling that 4e is in a slow spell...with little to get all excited about at the moment. There are some cool products on down the road (that we know about), but right now, it's kinda meh. Is anyone else feeling it? Perhaps it is just me feeling flat, but I can...

    Is it time for 5E?

This. I noted DDXP this year seemed...subdued. That's a good word for it. It is just a gut feeling with me too. The rather sudden cancellations, followed by the designers at DDXP wanting to pause, see where we are at sorta thing . I'm not worried about the game; I'm just puzzled.

Oops...my bad. I'm not suppose to quote you or get my hopes up. But I already did. :p

    DDXP Liveblogging

The only news I've been able to find about this DDXP event is some liveblogging links from here on ENWorld. No screenshots, no big news, no videos?? Other than some clarification on product cancellations, I don't feel like I know anymore now then I did before the event. This is just too...

D&D 4E Well, Its Official. 4E is Going Online

I look forward to the day I can buy a ticket to play in a celebrity DM event one night, and round up a groups of friends to play another night (even if those friends are in other states). I don't know how it will all play out, but I'm fairly certain that 'how' we play the game will change...

D&D 4E The (on-line) Future of 4E (or 4D as it will become known)- am I mad?

You are not mad...more of a visionary, I suppose :) I don't know how many years the change will happen. I don't know that reality will follow your vision, but I do suspect it won't resemble anything we are doing right now. Technology gets around to changing everything. I can see online...

How are you filling the Yawning Void that is the WotC publishing schedule?

Considering all my D&D stuff, novels, movies, computer games, and stuff...I have more entertainment at my fingertips than I can possibly consume. Sometimes I think I have more than I deserve. I want to focus more time trying to make the lives of other people better, especially friends and...

    I Want More Nentir Vale!

A very thoughtful response. Thanks! Now that I think about it, the vagueness does seem to be part of the appeal to me. I need to ponder, but I think this thread is changing my opinion. Thanks again :)

    Why Do You Subscribe?

Let's see: Content? Yes Character builder? Definately It's not that expensive? Check Support Dragon and Dungeon? You bet. Now that WotC has explained the reason they have cancelled several books, I'm looking forward to more content. To ensure I remain a DDI customer, I hope they add: The...

    DDXP Liveblogging

I'm glad to see a few more items on the schedule. There is one thing that confuses me. On one hand, we'll have these boxed sets with paper maps, tokens, cards, etc. I like that. On the other hand, we'll have this swanky new virtual table. I like that even better. So what content will be...

    I Want More Nentir Vale!

I'm afraid I don't understand how more information about the default campaign world of D&D is wanting too much consistency. Anything written about the Nentir Vale can simply be enjoyed or ignored. To me, the lore of PoL is very well done and hints at other wonders yet to be revealed. I like...

D&D promoting gang activity in prisons?

If you think about it, the whole thing is just...stupid. How about Pokemon then? Uh no, that Jigglypuff really makes them want to beat somebody up.

    I Want More Nentir Vale!

Nentir Vale reminds me of the old product called 'Thunder Rift'. Anybody remember that? The natural evolution of a campaign setting is to start in a small region and expand outward from there. I think that is how most campaign worlds get started.

    Monster Builder damage values query

I agree. If WotC were to update the math to Monster Manual 3 standards, then we would have an instant handy errata for MM1, MM2, Open Grave, H123, P123, etc. etc. If Monster Manual 3 math is the new standard, then why should the monster builder ignore that standard? For the DM, updating older...

VT/CB/AT integration coming soon to beta testers

Hooray! I'm excited too! And to think I was getting worried and all that. That's what I'm talking about!
