    Mac saves teen from D&D

Absolutely. I know playing DnD kept me out of trouble as a teen. A lot of my friends that weren't into gaming as much as I was all ended up dead, in jail, or in mental institutions. Most of my teen years were spent "working on the game." My friends would call and want me to go do crazy stupid...

    Would you find this rude?

Tough to say. It depends on the people in your group and how they are used to relating to each other. In my group, we frequently talk aout thenext campaign, and the one after that, so its fairly normal for us to do as you are suggesting. On the other hand, if you think the others in your group...

    Alternate Ranger Classes?

There is also the Sentinal Its sort of like the Fighter in that it gets a lot of "slots" where you can plug in any special ability you want from a list of 140 different ones, including all the classic ranger abilities. Many of them have prerequisites and stack up like talent trees and feat...

    Alignments and Fashion

Several years ago, I met this guy at work who gamed. He invited me and one of my players to his game to play. So we showed up with two very evil characters (a cleric and an anti-paladin) both dressed in classic EVIL GEAR. Well, the players in this other group were serious ROLL players, but...

Craziness in the real world - King Arthur the Vampire Slayer

I've done some alternate history stuff with the Titanic. And with the wild west, but my biggest alternate history project is1948. BTW, anyone that's interested in messing with history should check out Ken Hite's Supressed Transmission series. It has tons of cool info on all sorts of stuff.

    Is a Ninja/Barbarian possible?

I tend to agree with this. However, I also don't like to tell players "no" very often. After all, it is just a game. Basically, if the PC can come up with a good reason why they should be a barbarian, I'll allow it. And, in movies and in lit. there are examples of civilized people "going...

What do publishers think of fan-posted errata/reworks?

Thanks! Yeah, 22TT usually sells about 10 copies a month. When I re-released it, sales doubled for about 2 months. I also got a lot of "thank yous" and other positive comments from the customers. And, as you said, the revised version is simply better than the original.

    The Polite Way...

Well, the first part is good advice. You probably shouldn't slam her, and you certainly shouldn't slam her at the END of the message unless you want her to hate you. People are more likely to remember the last thing you said to them, rather than the first. So, if you HAVE to slam her, but don't...

What do publishers think of fan-posted errata/reworks?

I disagree. revising an older product can breath new life into it. Remember that we are dealing with a very small segment of the RPG market. If you put out a title and it sells 200 copies in the first year, then you revise it an re-release it, you'll see another surge in sales, since there are...
