the long and short of it is "Ask your DM". there isnt a rule for this but as a DM I would certainly allow it if I allowed a Copper dragon mount. Seems like a 2 way street to me, but I am a fairly leanient DM when it comes to power level. I care more about how fun the game is and how immersed...

Fair enough....my main point was that rogues were not built as a class in game to be massive damage producers and that generally if you prefer the fighting style of a rogue but are unsatisfied with the ability to be viable in combat the (generrally) better way would be to use a figter with feats...

thanks for all the comments and ratings. I think PF may end up as a splat book in my 3.5 game. I like some of the changes (item creation, CMB, easier challange creation) but others seem not so good (Wizards being able to spam L-0 spells, races getting an extra +2 to stats...etc). Seems best...

what about Basic, exceptional and Amazing (or mastercraft if you are attached to that term) A basic enchantment doesnt sound too bad to me. I haveb een trying to come up for an in game name for weapon enchantments +1 thru +5 and those are some names i have been tossign around

I couldnt agree with this more and honestly I thought I Was the only one who felt this way. I love 3.5 but I HEAVILY restrict player's options with splat books. WOTC was always trying to 1up themselves with player material because players are 80% of buyers. it's 1 DM to every 4-6 players...

my old gaming group were my childhood friends, but when i moved halfway across the country my gaming group is a different scenario. I game with a few people who I will occationally socialize with outside of gaming but are mostly gaming friends. Then again, having a family with 3 young kids...
