Castles & Crusades Town of Kalas by Paul Kidd

This sounds like I will easily be able to put this where ever I want it to be in my Monday Wilderlands game. Sounds perfect for the Wilderlands, in fact. Having ran games in Airhde for several years, I can think of dozens of places there it would fit there, too. Not to mention Greyhawk itself...

I used to think since I was "artistically dead" that there was no way I could paint mini's worth a darn. Then I got talked into a seminar by Reynolds at Neon Con for mini painting. I won't win shows, but they look good.

What Makes a Good System Neutral Product?

And? The idea was to give indications to the end user as to what the creatures and NPC's were capable of in a given system. WOTC is probably going for "edition neutral D&D" more than "system neutral" for everyone's favorite RPG. So it isn't like they can give such info for every system out...

    D&D copy right question

There is a website that tells all the official "trademarks", including WOTC's. Copyright is a bit easier, because all it protects is "original" works, so the less your work looks like theirs, the safer you will be. Also realize, and it seems like you already do, they do not own the concepts...

What Makes a Good System Neutral Product?

Indeed. There are plenty of attempts at "system neutral" dating all the way back to Judges Guild with their "universal" system that can be looked at for ideas on how to convey all this information.

What Makes a Good System Neutral Product?

Now a lot of mechanics can be strongly implied, or even out right stated. Like you can say what kind of benefits being a teifling or dragonborn gives you versus being a human. Or if your describing a golem like "race" you can describe it in ways that clue a person in on how to adapt it...

What Makes a Good System Neutral Product?

Anything that is unique and does a good job of conveying that uniqueness. At the same time you need to watch what things you present, because it has to be things that are relatively simple to convert into the respective system mechanics your customers are using. Like I do not use Dragonborn or...

Aspects of D&D that have made you fed up?

I never wanted to burn any of my books, but I did quit playing certain games, all due to rules bloat.

It would be very, very difficult to beat the deal on these paints. You might get lucky to find a one time opportunity at a "Going out of business sale" to beat this price. So yes, you can buy these paints knowing it would be very hard, if not impossible, to get a better deal anywhere.

    Reaper Miniatures Kickstarter

A lot of people really don't seem to get what Kickstarters really are. Rather than have to go look to banks or other "investment" groups, KS's allow fans to be the investors. So right now Reaper has 1.6 MILLION and growing in investments. Interest free, with no investors to answer to unless...

Which Edition(s) do you regularly play?

I play the retro clone of 1974 OD&D, Swords and Wizardry Complete, and am even backing the current Kickstarter, but until recently I was also playing 1E AD&D, not OSRIC. My other games are all Castles and Crusades, plus one of Eclipse Phase.

I do it to break the new levels faster. Besides, if too many people wait until "the last minute" they may bog down or outright crash the servers. Plus it took me less than two minutes.

Books within the libraries within your campaigns?

That is how I have done it in the past, usually ahead of time since I knew what was going on in such labs, etc... and just gave the write up to the players at the appropriate time. Its just that every time I always had a quick thought, "I wish there was a formal source of such books." So now...

Books within the libraries within your campaigns?

All good ideas, and yes, even a DM runs out of ideas. I think you can see I don't want just titles, I want authors, what they physically look like, a good idea of what kind of information can be found, by category as well as with a bit of descriptive text. Some books in Expeditious Retreats...

At this point, anyone with any interest in mini's would be kind of foolish not to jump on this, unless they are unfortunate to be in a position where they simply cannot afford it. We are down to $.75/ mini, with shipping included. Only way you can likely ever beat that is through thievery.
