I have all those already. Only way I know to get them is via archive websites, aka "Wayback Machines". A link like this one... Dungeons & Dragons Downloads

Free PDF's, old and new stuff...

Time to see if everyone is aware of the old stuff that has been made available for free, and LEGALLY. I'll start off with what I know about, Star Frontiers, Marvel Superheroes, Eclipse Phase, etc... Feel free to post what you know about. West End's D6 Open license stuff: DriveThruRPG.com -...

(HackMaster) - the QuickStart Guide is now available

Its among the best Monster books ever done. Very possibly the best. Awesome write ups, and production quality is second to none. Kurt's been telling me you guys are doing the rules very modular, like Aces and Eights, so I might get on board after all. Especially if the rules organization and...

Well, I can't afford to buy into this right now, but I did share it with over 900 "Old School Gamers" on Facebook, so hopefully I helped get you some more sales.

Which D&D worlds have Sci Fi Space Ships?

As The Shaman posted above, it does. It also, in its history, suggest a number of long lost "space ports" of some kind could also still exist, plus the climate of the Wilderlands is controlled. But the control is failing, resulting in unpredictable and exceptionally nasty storms. That or I am...

    Battlegrounds or Fantasygrounds?

Doesn't BG and FG both have free trial versions? I am pretty certain they do, or at least did, because I remember playing around with both of them for free.

    Battlegrounds or Fantasygrounds?

Yeah, I remember finding Maptools a little on the challenging side, but once I remembered [1d20+8] and remembered how to find the button to create new macros, I was able to go hog wild. FG and BG are essentially the same as well. Maybe the fact that they look prettier makes it seem like their...

(HackMaster) - the QuickStart Guide is now available

Dang Kurt! Kenzer needs to hire you to handle their organizational layout! You still need help with typo's (1.1 Introduction, spelled recently as resently), but if HM Basic was this well laid out, organized, and easy to find definitions, even without hyperlinks, I might still be on board.

    Battlegrounds or Fantasygrounds?

I know I am going to come across sounding like I am knocking Fantasy Grounds, but here is why I do not buy FG, or BG. You talk about licensing. Well, I already own a ton of adventures. So I have already paid my dues, so to speak, to all the gaming publishers. So when I want to run something I...

    Battlegrounds or Fantasygrounds?

There really isn't much difference between FB, BG or Maptools, for that matter, in terms of what they can do for you. The biggest differences are: Interface. Which one do you find easiest to use and figure out. Cosmetics. Which one do you think looks prettiest. I think Fantasy Grounds wins...

Possibly trying Savage Worlds: Deadlands or other Settings

The mechanics are identical, you just tweak things to give the "flavor" you want. As an example, how they did the two spell casting types in Solomon Kane, if you have it. The PDF is only $12 for about 2 more days at drivethru right now.
