    [IC] WD's Against the Orcs

Argivion scoffs. "It is actually what I expected ... maybe even a little better." He quickly scans the village. "If they have a smithy here I might have some ideas how to improve the defences. And we should get those peasants to work on the walls, maybe let them dig a trench and some pits."

"Maybe we should take a look at that wagon", Argivion remarks.

    [IC] WD's Against the Orcs

Argivion quickly searches the bodies and then takes a short break to dust of his clothes. After that he is ready to proceed. I take a short break (can't remember the official name) to "re-charge" encounter powers and also spend a healing surge to regain 10 HP

Smiling slightly, Argivion once again uses fire to attack his last remaining foe. Scorching Burst (using implement) on M17 if I can see it. This way I just get the raider. If I can't see M17, I'll delay.

    [IC] WD's Against the Orcs

Running slowly out of targets, Argivion tries to hit one of the raiders with yet another scorching burst. Scorching Burst on E16 using implement ot hit R1. If I can't see that spot, I'll hit L15 to get R2 instead ... and to annoy Mordok even more :))

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Maybe I am just too cautious when it comes to "upgraded" orcs. But I still have nightmares from encountering orcs in another system... :) @WD One word: Orkensturm. :uhoh: :D

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Somehow Orcs are tougher than I remembered ... The minions are down, but the "heavies" are still pretty much unharmed (and still have healing powers). I just hope Nervir and Paranthraxus take out that bloody Eye this turn. Otherwise I'll propbably use Acid Arrow and hope for the best...

    [IC] WD's Against the Orcs

Once again, Argivion tries to scorch his enemies with fire. Scorching burst, using implement. Centered on M17 if I can see that to get both R2 and D4. If I can't see it, the attack goes on L19 to fry that remaining drudge. BTW: I really hate that Eye and his self-healing abilities ...

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Looks okay again. :) And it is quite fast as well ... So, no more excuses, WD. ;)

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Same here. And it's even slower then usual (although that could be Eircom's fault ...)

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

So we have three people (Nervir, Paranthraxus and me) attacking the Eye and one going after R1 (unless Nerve gets a chance to hit R2), correct? As far as I can see it it might be best if Mordok went for R2, ignoring D4, till Paranthraxus and Nerve have finished off the Eye. William should be...

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Yeah, a crit! :D Methinks the Eye of Gruumsh might be in trouble. @WD Argivion is still prone according to the Conditions tab. Are you going to change that later or is it not possible to get up and cast a spell in the same turn?

    [IC] WD's Against the Orcs

Argivion stands up, raises his staff and two bolts of icy energy speed towards his enemies. Icy Rays on the Eye of Gruumsh on L10 and Drudge 4 on L18. +9 vs Reflex, 1d10+7 damage + immobilise. Should have clear LoS on the Eye, probably haven't got the slightest chance to hit the drudge. But...

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Excellent. And another thing: Can I fire both "Ice Rays" at one target?

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Somehow I can't find Argivion on the map... And I got three questions. 1) Concealment does not help against Burst, Blast and Area attacks, right? 2) Standing up is a move action which grants an Attack of Opportunity? 3) If I attack lying prone with an Area or Burst attack: do...

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Just posted my first action. I am not too familiar with the 4th Edition yet, so any corrections, hints etc are welcome. WD, I sent a PM about what basic tactics my character will employ if you carry on fighting during the weekend.

    [IC] WD's Against the Orcs

Argivion takes a step back, raises his staff and fire engulfs the orcs on his left. Scorching Burst centered on the Drudge on G16 (using bonus of implement, +9 vs Reflex, Dmg. 1d6+7) and move to J19 if possible. I know the orcs are concealed but maybe I am lucky... I am unbelievably stupid...

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Well, I am always in favour of violence and bloodshed (especially since I will not be near a PC with a working internet connection on the weekends). But you want to wait I am okay with WD taking over Argivion.

    [OOC] WD's Against the Orcs

Wow, leaving for Roxbury already ... *starts singing* 'ere we go, 'ere we go, 'ere we go Ahem. -clears throat- Sorry, got carried away. :D Any preferences on the spells I should prepare? I was thinking Fireball and Acid Arrow.

    [IC] WD's Against the Orcs

Argivion shakes his head as he watches the Dragonborn leave. But for a tiny moment he also seemed to be amused. He then follows the Dragonborn and the Seneschal.
